To all my fellow friends and members of elite. I want everyone on the forums to know about a program elitefitness put into place a few months ago under my advice.
I few months back I came up with the Idea Of making what is called a Purgatory forum. Its something I have seen other sites doing and thought it was perfect for elite and its members.
So what is the Purgatory forum, and how does it help all the members?
Well often people my get banned or timed out and they feel they may have been for no reason or with out a good cause. Or maybe you got timed out and you would just like for a chance to say you are sorry and make amends for your wrong doing. What ever the case my be. Now here on elitefitness. If you get banned or timed out that is not the end of you.
When you get timed out or banned your account then has access to a hidden forum on this site called Purgatory. In this forum you can make a thread and speak with every mod on our staff as well as the admin and owner of the site.
Your thread is discrete though and only you, the mods,The admin, and the owner can see the threads you make. No other member in the Purgatory forum can see your threads.
This allows you a way to speak to everyone in charge of elitefitness From the bottom of command all the way up to the top man Himself big rick rock and or George Swellwin!.
I feel that every one from the members all the way up to me has to have checks and balances. Everyone should be held accountable for there actions, even me.
This new Purgatory forum is a another way to keep things in balance. So that if even some one me as acted like an ass, some one else has the opportunity to question me about it.
If a mod was wrong then they might see that they were wrong. If they were a little to harsh they may also see this. You your self will also get a better understanding Of why what happen to you happen.
This new system allows us to pull you away from the forums where you might be causing some trouble and talk with you in a controlled environment man to person to person. So that all parties involved can get a better understanding of each other.
I am posting this because I want everyone on the forums to know that no one is ever banned and then swept under the rug. Everything is in the light for all of the staff and owners to see and no mod has complete power with out having to give account for his or her actions.
This means when you think mods are just doing what ever they please with no one to answer to you are wrong!! All the mods and mentors of this forum Answer to Ether stellito or myself, or some times even admin and the owner. I have to give account to my boss all the time and him to his boss. So from top to bottom on this site everyone is kept as honest as we can make it.
If elite, any of its mods, or myself were the type of people who did not care about the members. If i was a dishonest person in any of my actions. I would never have come up with this Idea. I know that even I need to stop and reevaluate my actions some times. A system set in place like this allows for this to happen much more often.
I love you guys and would never wish to do wrong to any of you no matter how new or old of a member you are. Whether you like me or not, I like you because you are a member of this site and aside from my wife and kids this site is everything to me.
So rest assured every measure is taken care of to insure that you are treated fairly and with respect. From the moment you sign up to the day you stop posting.
