I see a couple of daily things here at E.F.

Now we all talk about needing/not needing more MODs - but before I would even THINK about touching that opic, I have to ask a siple question.

Do the Admins/G.S. give each MOD certain responsablities here on the AAS board?

For example - if Mr. X (and now to a lesser extent, Radar) are "online" - they answer any/every question they can. - so I assume they have been given this duty. MAC , many times, is concurrenty on, but usually won't enter a thread that isn't AF Store related, and for the most part those threads are just old, bumped threads. This is a shame at times because there are SO many newbie questions to be answered.

Again, I am not flaming, but I think "anyone" who spends 3 seconds on this site will know what the AF store offers, so wouldn't it be of better use (as a MOD) to have MAC adressing a portion of all these newbie questions, even if it's "not" pertaining to Sesapure etc?

BTW - I "do" respect MAC and his position, - i just don't understand the protocol here..............

Mods duties, as I understand it, really only cover one thing and that's to see that the TOC aren't violated. Mr.X and Radar help out not because of being mods but out of their inate goodness.

We have this same issue on the C&C board: members sometimes expect mods to be a source of entertainment. Similarly in the Bookie forum, mods don't lay down events for betting on and in the Weights forum everyone just pitches in and the mods step in to resolve big, bad arguments.

The mods are here to keep the place ticking over and to help keep the place reasonably hospitable for everyone and to keep everyone's back covered when members feel inclined to post sources.
