I just got back from NY after a month and got back to my old gym with no knurling on any of the bars. So my question is how the hell do I work around this? Before now I just never did deads and soon realized that was a bad decision. My one thought was to just put some of that grip stuff on the bar like used on baseball bats and tennis rackets, but I'm not sure how this would work or what kind would work best. I understand u don't really have to have it, but I don't want to have to use straps way under my max.
