No air bubbles in the plunger?

Well one of my bro's just did a quad injec. and when he pulled the plunger back no air bubbles filled the syringe, no blood either. He went ahead and shot, but I'm just curious because I've never witnessed this before, has anyone?

I am guessing this meant there was a clog when he pulled back, and it moved when pushed forward.

no, this happens frequently

or you get blood, or you get bubbles, or you get vacuum.
So it the last is the case, and you pulled hard, let go, the stopper shoots back in position. Anyway if this happens, just shoot the stuff in.

Interesting thought the "clogging". Maybe it is possible.

You know it's funny, the exact same thing happened to me last week. First time ever. I'm so paranoid though, I took it out, changed pins, and reinserted. The only thing I can think of is that maybe there was a bubble in the pin or something.

you have caused a vaccum, there is no need to be alarmed and this is a very common occurence, on most injections it would be a great thing to not have air come back or blood. think about where the needle is in relationship, it's in a closed system(muscle) there should not be free air in the muscle ya think, so this is why you don't always get air back, and yes i do give injections about a 1000 times a day, later duckster:)

I don't have a whole lot of injects under my belt, but I've either got vacuum, or a couple of times blood. Never bubbles.

No bubbles? Uh oh... something is wrong with me. I've got a lot of free air floating around in my muscles or somethin :lmao:

Seriously, I never get air that just flows into the syringe and doesn't go back in until injection... but I always get a vacuum with little bubbles that go right back in when you release negative pressure.
