Nizoral shampoo and Hairloss......

I take propecia and Nizoral too. I'm also wondering if the nizoral anti-dandruff
stuff they have at the store is the stuff were supposed to use. Supposedly
nizoral, reduces or deactivates the androgens on the scalp, but it doesn't say
anything like that on the bottle.

Anyone with any info????

i was wondering the same...

i looked at nizoral at the store and it said nothing about hairloss but people
say it works for hairloss...who knows.

Beside anecdotal evidence, a scientific study found 2% Nizoral as effective for treating hairloss as 2% Minoxidil. (Yenigma's sister needs to go back to school...)

when i wash and brush my hair i lose a few hairs a day when i was on the juice i washed with niz and used rogain once a day (2% niz from mex) when i washed and brushed i lost NO HAIR!!!
who knows which one did it but if(ok when) i juice again i will use both while on.

I believe that it is bullshit!

My mothers father did have thinned hair whes he died in age if 45. In my mothers mother family there is no hairloss at all and my mothers brothers have thinned hairs, so they did have it from their father.

It is just old school theory. Someone will have mpb from their mothers family, some their fathers it is just guestion about good or bad luck.

One study, in my acadimic opinion, is just the tip of the ice burg.

If you do a meta study and find the same variables, consistencies, validity, ect, then we have a strong argument.

One study does not prove really anything. Outside factors that are not taken into concideration can contribute to a bias conclusion.

If you can copy and paste teh study, it would be the first step in teh right direction.

Look, I am not saying that you are being bias or wrong, but we have to look at all the studies (meta) and draw a
conclusion that is supported by acadimicia.

True, informal ethnographic qualative research from people in the bbing realm supportes the theory that the shampoo works.
if so, I am all for IT!

But, again, we have no emperically consistence evidence, just a lone study.
