Nips in public?

What's the deal? When women get cold or are working out, their nips get hard, right? We ALL know this! So WHY HIDE IT?!!

I used to work at a place that had a 1/2 mile walkway from building to building. Lots of windows, so it'd get pretty cold. Women would actually walk across w/ their arms crossed across their breasts, cuz they didn't want anyone to know they were hard!

And then recently a woman at the gym was telling me, that she hates that her nips do that at the gym, and will always wear baggy clothes to hide it. She said she wished she could be more like me, and not care about it.. So I'm like, ok, then just do it! Why do women freak out over this?

First, there are women who are modest, why fault them? They're not trying to hide something from you so don't take it personally.

Second, frankly, my boobs really don't like being cold. I'll cross my arms across my chest if it's cold because it's uncomfortable. I don't know how to explain it but cold boobs, bad feeling. Oh, wait a minute, here's an analogy you might understand: does it feel good when your winkie turtles up and your testicles try to crawl up inside you because THEY'RE cold??? Similar thing, I'd guess.
 
I used to hide it where I used to work cuz the guys would stare & make completely obnoxious comments.

Plus don't you know it's rude to point?? :lmao:

And the annalogy of shrinkage vs. nipples getting hard is not the same. Shrinkage is the body parts attempting to maintain constant temperature in that reagion. Kind of incubating the egg (sprem).

NOW, if it went the OTHER way, BOING, that would be an uncomfortable situation. LOL

But seriously as MuscleMom said, it's a modesty issue. If women want to be modest, I see no propblem with it, with the following caveat. They must still be freaky in bed.

btw, you've gotten up to 80 posts in a few days, and started 6 threads- the last one being about nipplage, I assumed you didn't really need a welcome anymore and knew it was ok to start threads.

Actually I believe this to be a cultural thing. For some reasons Americans, in general, believe that most women should hide the fact that they have nipples at the end of their breasts. LOL

My headlights are nearly always on (thank goodness).... I think it's cool and never have I had a complaint. ;)

PS - posting in C&C has always been like swimming in a tank of sharks. Once you stop feeling the need to argue with morons (as I admit is a shortcoming of mine :rolleyes: ) you will be ok. :)

I agree w/ ya, but some guys are more than peepers...they gotta hound a female and try to feel them up or some women just don`t feel confident and don`t want the attention...

It's good that they try to hide it, means they're the type of women who would be least likely to cheat in a relationship. The ones out showing off their hard nips, craving the attention have caution written all over them and their nips. :)

lol that doesnt make much sense. showng off their hard nips? how so? unless youre prancing around bouncing and shoving your boobsies in people's faces saying LOOK AT MY NIPS, then Im not sure what you mean LOL

If they are there, they are there. What can you do? Walk around with hands covering your breasts in public? That's weird.
