Nicotine for preworkout.

Poison? i didn't mention anything about poison . .

Nicotine is a poison, just like alcohol.

Just because people use them for recreation or they're advertised in television and magazines and what have you doesn't change their status.

What i don't understand is being able to comprehend a world that is so imcomprehensible.

To me . . television is poison, but that's just my take.

I guess an opinion is the only thing that a forum has to offer and i respect everyone's.

Don't you think it's a little much to lable something a poison?

A gun can murder (which is bad) , but it can also defend (which is good).

Depends on how you look at something.

That's exactly where society has gone, labeling everything and everyone. Judging.

You're obfuscating the issue.

Nicotine and alcohol are considered poisons when ingested into the human body.

You can tip-toe and try to rationalize all you want, but it won't change anything. This isn't my opinion at all.

And? Are you just trying to say they're a poison? is that the point ur trying to make?

Samoth, just so we don't get this confused. Here's my first post. Notice what is said.

Then comment on it one last time and we'll leave it at that. k :)

Good effects of nicotine, not posting the bad because you already know them.

Analgesia
(ahn ahl gee shia), absence of pain while retaining the sense of touch, painlessness. One of the most promising uses of nicotinic drugs to date is as pain relievers.

Anti-psychotic
(ahn tee si kah tihk), literally, against psychosis (a type of insanity where the subject loses almost complete touch with reality). Interestingly, the correlation between a diagnosis of untreated psychosis and smoking is very high--it appears that somehow the psychotic person "knows" to self-medicate themselves.

Anxiolysis
(ang zee oh lie sis), lowering of anxiety levels.

Cognitive Enhancement
(cahg nih tihv ehn hahns mehnt), increasing/enhancing of the processes involved in thinking/knowing (cognition).

Cerebrovasodilation
(ceh ree broh vay soh dye lay shun), dilating (opening, widening) of the blood vessels (vaso) in the brain (cerebro).

Neuroprotection
(nyoo rho pro tek shun), as it sounds, protecting the cells of the nervous system from certain types of degenerative disease. No one knows for sure quite why, but a history smoking seems to be protective against some of the neuronal loss in Alzheimer's disease.

Believe it or not, slap a nicotine patch on for preworkout and it'll help.

The effects of nicotine on vasodiolation of the blood vessels in the brain

and on your thought process of thinking/knowing are a great tool for workouts.

Throw some aspirin and caffeine into this preworkout stack with some herbal

mood enhacements and you'll have one hell of a preworkout stack.

EVERYTHING HAS SIDE EFFECTS BRO.

LOOK AT ANY PRODUCTS WARNINGS, THEY ALL GOT EM :)

That was it. That the chemicals are considered poisons, that's all.

Given their chemical classification, I fail to see the benefit to the overall health of the bodybuilder. There's other stuff out there that would be the credited choice over nicotine when looking at if solely from an exercise/ergogenic standpoint.

I could make a thread stating the good effects of crack cocaine or 4-methylaminorex as pre-workout stimulants, thermogenics, et cetera, and not post the bad because we all already know them... however, I fail to see the purpose of such a thing.

Holy Crap . .

Your comparing it to Meth? Crack?

Like i said, nicotine is OTC.

Just like AAS, don't abuse and you won't have problems.

Yes, I am. Although I think we're looking at things from different standpoints. I don't care what society says about them yesterday, today, or tomorrow, as that changes with the winds. I look at what they are chemically and what they do to the body. OTC status is irrelevant to me. Chemical classification as a poison is.

i see where your coming from and i know you see where i'm coming from . .

it's just a different perspective. No harm done.
