my mum was a proper parishioner
the pastor would knock there every day
untill one day he did not show
my mum was pregnant and it was a shame

I always sing in our church´s choir
I don´t make noise, pass around the plate

I like nothing better than to go to church
where I see the old man speak in the pulpit
