i did not take me just minutes to come up with these targets, i have lived around them my whole life. it has always been known that these places are potential targets.

I agree, and the military opened my eyes up years ago, I've just hoped that nothing would ever happen. Since 82, I've believed that we were susceptible to some type of attack, obviously its been played out in quite a few movies, but the method of these attacks, far exceeded my estimation of these terrorist organizations. They lost 285,000 gallons from the rifle shot, so I can only imagine what a well placed bomb would do. Or several......the mental state of the country is also a target. Spongebob, I think our media does entirely too much reporting on all of it. from interviews with victim's family members, to speculative reports, and the lying reports from the government about the anthrax. NO connection? Yeah, okay, you may not have found it yet, but dont say there isn't a connection. Did you know we GAVE Iraq anthrax years ago? Why?

Chesty, I was listening to the radio the other day and someone brought up the theory of a nuclear power plant attack. The conclusion was that the plants have enough but in built in safety features to stop a meltdown or nuclear explosion of one sort or another. From what i understand the worst that could happen is perhaps some radioactive cooling water leaking from the plant if the damage is severe enough.

The terrorists are in no rush. It is human and especially American nature to get all excited and heated up about issues of security and then slowly go back to "business as usual." This is not a bad thing. It is what makes America America.

The terrorists will wait and then probably strike again. Think of how long they have been attacking Israel and the best they can come up with is human bombs. They really aren't as creative or resourceful or intelligent as we are giving them credit for. They are lazy, shiftless, slimy Arabs who's sole mission is to destroy others; they don't have much incentive to come up with great things.

Look at it this way: in the vast scope of things that could have been done with 5 YEARS of planning, the best they could come up with was to "successfully" hijack 3.5 planes and kill 6,000 out of 280,000,000 people? I'm sure 3 MIT physics students could have done much worse after a night of heavy drinking on a bender. We gave them an opportunity and they took it. The trick from here on out is to not give them any more "easy" opportunities.

As the Israeli's have learned, terrorism will continue no matter what. You cannot negotiate it away because, so long as they exist their views and actions are radical and do not bend, conform, or yield to those of others (contrast this with conservatives and liberals here as well as in places like Israel; agreeing to disagree and compromise is what allows democracies to work- checks and balances, etc...)

Our only hope is to COMPLETELEY ELIMINATE the source(s), supporters, and incentives for terrorism. Figure out what they want and, while they're waiting for us to fall asleep at the wheel again, wipe out everything they hope to achieve. Kill their leaders, wipe out their sources of income, kill their families at home, destroy their holy places. With their leaders gone and economic, spiritual, other supports eliminated, blowing yourself up for a non-existent cause is less of a desirable option.

It might not be palatable to some pussies (and that's what they are) but it is a necessary evil we will need to pursue to continue with our way of life, one which it seems the majority of the world agrees with judging by their attempts to emulate us.

Traffic: A few guys with around the country with any type of weapon. Right before rush hour traffic they light up a few cars. It wouldn't kill alot of people but It sure would cause alot of wrecks and back traffic way up. They could hit all the major cities at random. This is minor in the whole picture. The big picture would be the number of people that stayed at home, not making money or spending money. All due to FEAR.

Figure out what they want and, while they're waiting for us to fall asleep at the wheel again, wipe out everything they hope to achieve. Kill their leaders, wipe out their sources of income, kill their families at home, destroy their holy places. With their leaders gone and economic, spiritual, other supports eliminated, blowing yourself up for a non-existent cause is less of a desirable option.

the media caters to the masses. i personally get sick of watching the news sometimes. its convenient to plop down and turn it on instead of researching shit on the internet or in the library for some people.
im not convinced yet these anthrax cases are the work of terrorist. you know we have alot of sick phucs wanting to be copycats. this could be an opportune time to pull this shit why so much focus is on terrorist. hell i dont know.
but i dont think the govt should reveal anything just yet until they have very concrete proof. the public is already speculating enough and its scarring the shit out of people.

Wipe out their holy places? Are you meaning all holy places in the M East? I'm for wiping out all terrorists, but to accomplish what you just suggested, we'd have to kill every Muslim, Arab, in the world. Including the ones that have been living here for years. Do you actually think any of our allies would join us in this type of slaughter? Basically, that's about what you'd have to do just to wipe out terrorism. Any people of M E descent left living with their holy places destroyed, would revert to the animalistic state you suggest. As for what they want, I suggest you do a search on the beginnings of terrorism...

Let them have their oil. I suggest all Western culture countries boycott them, their oil, and other products they export, and refuse to import a pack of matches to them. Since we've given them so much technology to survive, let's see how well they survive without us holding their hands. I believe that would eliminate a great deal of incentive for them. With all of the money we give in aid, we can rebuild our Missile Defense system, assist our true allies if necessary, get our homeless vets, etc...off the streets. and clean up our educational system. Close our borders....align and work with Canada to ensure that no one comes in.....the hell with the theory of we're an open country, that shit got us in this mess in the beginning. Protect the homeland, and our true allies......

i like this idea, its kinda of the first time its made sense to me. we get the hell out and let them come to us begging for help and assistance. they pay the price for our involvement.
we could survive without the oil, at least for awhile, and see what happens to thier economy. this also could serve a double purpose of telling OPEC to phuc off.
