News- Fan Throws Syringe at Bonds

"If that's what they want to do, embarrass themselves, then that's on them. That has nothing to do with me at all." Giants slugger Barry Bonds after a fan at Petco Park tossed a syringe at him Monday.

Right on Barry, it has nothing to do with you!

I love how they tried to make a big deal of this syringe being tossed onto the field. If you saw the game, you could tell it was one use to inject marinade into meats, it wasn't a medical syringe. Yes it was wrong for it to be thrown, but I've seen a lot worse things thrown onto fields.

There is common sense proof and proof that will hold up in a court of law. It only comes down to legal proof, which they don't have to my knowledge. This is so overblown and repetative I think I'm about ready to ignore everything regarding it.

He has never failed a drug test... case closed. He has no obligation to say shit to anyone, because he never broke the established rules of baseball.

ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME ???

No im not kidding. There is no proof whatsoever that he used steroids. Only rumors.. The media cant stand bonds to begin with, and they will do whatever it takes to destroy his rep. Even if he did use, you think a shot of rHGH or slin is going to make him hit a baseball?? Its hand/eye coordination.. MLB and Selig should be concentrating on the future of baseball, not trying to dig up shit that isnt there.. Nothing will come out of this, watch!

i think bonds has used only because most ball players do.but the fact is it has never been proven.
but this was the dumbest post ever! plenty of people have improved there bodies naturaly.look at some before and after pics on this board or others. that doesnt prove someone used gear?

lmao.. Look at anyones body that was in their early 20s to their body now in their 30s. Wether they used steroids or not, the older you get you start to gain extra weight. Ask your father, or any adult male in their 30s or 40s they will tell you the same thing..

So your trying to tell me because he gained weight since his early 20s to his current condition, he used steroids? Funny because I gained weight in my early 20s and I didnt use steroids. I weighed 155lbs my senior year. Im 237 now. I didnt use till I was in my late 20s..

Damn...imagine the embarrasement he felt...I mean...all set aside...EVERYONE knew what was being "implied" when it was thrown onto the field....and so did he..

Bonds is one of the greatest players to ever play the game.. He also happens to be a juice monkey. I find the syringe on the field rather humorous.

I think its funny that on a board largely dedicated to steroid usage and products in our own bodybuilding lives that so many people can be so judgemental in the Barry Bonds situation. Sure hes a professional athlete and obviously America wants to think that the playing field is equitable when records are close to being broken- but its not and never has been the case.Babe Ruth was either drunk or hungover when he was playing the majority of his games- should we remove his batting records because of intoxication or high alcohol blood levels????Barry Bonds is a great athlete with or without steroids-and the reason were all getting "nervous" is because hes in striking distance of challenging existing records.America still doesnt understand that steroids CAN NOT create a brilliant athlete-only enhance one.Im on enuff shit to bulk up every man woman and child on my street-but I still cant hit a fucking baseball.
Im not saying its right/wrong to use steroids in professional sports- only pointing out that its another one of those issues that brings the hypocrites out from behind the bushes. Italian Muscle is right that maybe the powers that be should be concentrating on baseball as a whole-and if that means testing all players regularly to ensure an equitable playing field FINE- but if it means mowing down one guy because hes close to breaking a couple records by the "sainted" players of the past-well thats bullshit. Not much in life is equitable, no matter how much we want it to be.

Everyone on my street were already bulked up, but by McDonalds and cell-tech.

IMO, the reason the government is on a witch hunt with steroids is because of baseball...damn barry bonds couldn't keep it on the dl.

This is gonna happen all season long. It'll get to him eventually.

It already has, he was on ESPN crying like a baby this morning. Made me sick, I wish he would stand up and be a man instead of begging for sympathy. People are going to pile it on worse now that they know its affecting him.

Bonds used hgh, insulin, the cream, and the clear. He was on the balco special. I admire the guy. He is arguably the best baseball player of all time. He did what he had to do to stay one step ahead of everyone. I read the game of shadows, its a pretty informative book. Definitely biased against Bonds but still a good read.

Him crying, which was before the syringe throwing on monday, is IMO not trying to draw in sympathy, yet it will by a few. He's been showing for a long time now, through his interviews, that this stituation is affecting him. The crying, which wasn't excessive at all like you made it seem, is an expectable thing with all the pressure he and the media have put upon him. Pro athletes already have so much pressure and this thing is probably just as much loaded on his shoulders to handle.

Everyone needs to just lay off his every move and get on with their lives.

Well from your post it sounds like you are the one following his every move...

Well I do watch a lot of tv, but what I meant it not evaluate every move he makes. I am simply opinionated when people start sharing theirs'. I can just as easily keep it to myself.
It the media reporting, the "experts'" analizing, and then the opinionated public that start these threads that start getting to me to feel I have to give my view.
