NEWBIE* Need Advice on First Cycle

So, obviously, I'm a newbie and first time AS user. I've been considering doin this for a while and now decided I need some advice to start. A little about me:

6', 235lb, prob a pretty high bf % (dunno what it is) I work out 3-4/wk. My goals are simple, lose body fat and tone up some, maintain my strength, not necessarily any more, definately not less. I don't have a any 'model' look aspirations or anything, just clean and healthy and as cut as I can be with my body type.

It seems even with hard work outs for long periods of time, it's rough for me to get any lower than 225 or so.

I'm an amateur MMA athlete and want to change weight classes, so cutting is a must. It seems with my weight, I simply can't work out hard enough to maintain a lower weight level (goal is 195-205lbs walking around, then cut to fight at 185)

I was told by some pretty advanced AS users that if I don't have the money or know how to take some pretty advanced cycles, then WINSTROL maybe combined with HGH would be a good first cycle and at least help me shed the weight. Goal is to shed the weight to make my workouts easier to maintain a high intensity. So get on the cycle, shed the weight, then get off the cycle and work out like a mad man to maintain is the plan. Advice I was given is good or bad? Reading up on the net, it seems reviews are mixed on Winstrol only or Winny combined with HGH only.


Again, I don't have the money to get all these different products to do these really advanced (seemingly so) cycles. Nor do I want the bad side effects... From white I read, both the products I'm interested in don't have the major retention, bitch tits, acne, ect....

It really really looks to me like aas might not be for you right now. I mean hell you can't even afford to do it right. Proper cycles and pct is not cheap. OK this will tell me if you are ready or not.... With in the next 5 mins can you tell me exactly what you eat yesterday.. Your whole days diet written down like this.

total cals
total fat cals and total fat grams
total protein cals and total protein in grams
total carbs in cals and in grams.

If you were dedicated and doing your diet and training right you would already have it written down. Can you tell me this?

And be honest... If you can't then there is the start of your problem. If you can well then lets see what it looks like.

Yep.

Cardio AM first thing before breakfast. Throw an egg, half-banna, scoop of peatnut butter, and handfull of oats into a blender, and thats your breakfast. If you eat decent for the rest of the day (small frequent meals) + 30 minutes/ day 5 days/week cardio, you'll shed.

Its all about what you eat.

Ok here's the deal. I teach Jiu-Jitsu @ an MMA Gym. Work w/ fighters etc. on their diets all the time. My Brother & I own a Judo/Jui-Jitsu/Wrestling Club.

It doesn't matter how long and hard you work out if you are not eating properly. End of the story!!

If you are looking to cut that much weight you'll need to do a few things:

1. water.. Cannot stress this enough.. @ least 1 gallon a day!! If you are not getting up @ least once in the middle of the night to pee, you're not drinking enough water!!

2.Diet: Pick your flavour, but most if not all of our guys do a low carb, low fat, high protien diet.

3.Crazy ass cardio.. You should be doing 45-1hr cardio 5-6 days a week. If you don't feel like you're going to puke, you're not working hard enough!!

Our fighters train 5-6 days a week. Typically looks like this:
Gi class 2 x a week
No Gi class 2 x week
Take Downs 1x a week
Muay Thai 5-6 x a week
Pad rounds of 5 x 5min
MMA guys do pad rounds and grappling rounds 5 x 5min 6 days a week. (only 6 weeks, before actual fight though)

Now in all fairness, our gym is famous for our guys having great wind (cardio)

Here's a lil history on me.

I was a HS athlete and played football/wrestled at around 225 all 4 years. After HS, I let go of myself and balloned up to 280lbs. I cut from that down to about 230 in almost a year. A LOT OF HARD WORK.

I counted calories, had a great diet and did really well. I then let myself go again and was able to maintain that weight while eating whatever I want, instead of watching my diet again, just because I worked out so much.

I've yet to 'diet' properly again, but I am more conscience of what I'm eating. Problem is, I seem to Plateau at 225, regardless of when I was on or off a really strict diet. That is why I considered adding the cycle of Winstrol and HGH.

The plan is get on that strict diet again and do the cycle, but if yall really think it's a bad idea to do the cycle... I'll consider the strict diet/work outs only again.... it just seems I plateau and go no where.
 
Dude everyone here is saying the same thing. Don't bother with AAS instead give yourself a 3 month goal and structure a diet like what the boys are saying in the other posts. get that early morning cardio CRANKING! then u will shread
 
Cardio, Cardio, Cardio... steriods isn't the key to loosing wieght. You need to get with experianced fighters and talk with them on cutting wieght. All fighters know how to cut and gain wieght and if they don't I would bet there not a competitive fighter. From the way you posts sounds your looking for the easy way out of things... either way steriods or not you have to train hard. If you just wanna loose wieght cut your carbs, (breads) red meats and dairy. The first 25 min of cardio will burn cal's from the current day anything after will help burn off fat.. do a min of 45 min per day and continue to work out with wieghts. You might gain wieght but shred fat.
 
It's funny, I was recommended this buy some very well known fighters, I will not name names, but very well known. I'm not gonna name where I train or who I know, but I'd say a good 90% of pro fighters, that I know of and every fan in the world knows of... roid like crazy...

I actually prefer to go natural, it just seemd like it wasn't gonna work for me.

Imma take all your advice and try to be a little more diligent, a bit more focused and restructure the way I do things. Maybe hire a dietrician. Like I said, I prefer to do things naturally....

Question #2....Do you think AAS are for lossing weight?
Question #3....How much Cardio do you do?

I also train MMA and I know it can be a challenge to drop weight, but your looking to drop 50lbs correct? Thats alot of weight and AAS is not the answer to weight lose of that amount. Needsto gave you a platnimum membership use it!!! Go search out all the fat loss stacks and dieting regimines of other members. You can do it bro we are here to help and that what we are all offering you right now!!!

Thanks man, actually looking just to lose 20lbs, then cut another 10 or 15 when I need to.

Thanks for all your help everyone, I greatly appreciate it and didn't expect to get so many replies so quickly. I got a lot to think about, but I think I've decided to just give myself another try.... Though I've had these plateaus at that same weight, so many times, I just don't know how I'm gonna do it. MORE RESEARCH.
 
My friend as a fighter, Cardio in the form of puma ling and mat work work with a strict diet will do it, also any fighter knows about eating the the half , 30 minutes, 10 minutes in 10 minutes out with your partners. AS will help, but need more education, Personally winstrol makes a good rat poison!
