First off I'm 19, 6'2, 165 lbs and have been working out solidly for 3 1/2 years. I have about 7-10% Body Fat, I am a hard gainer no doubt, and know the fundamentals of good diet, sleep, and rest to create the ideal environment for muscle building.

Before someone posts and chews me out for being young, I know! I have NO intention of starting a cycle until my epiphysial plates have closed! I care much more about getting to my natural size then i do about gaining muscle quickly, I can be patient, you need that as a hard gainer. If i do start a cycle it won't be until i'm done growing and if I'm done growing now then when I'm 20 (in several months)I just want the advice of some steroid veterans, who know whats up.

Besides growth plates do I risk any other possible side effects? I just want to a good cycle that would give me the most natural gains that will stick, I don't want to take steroids consistently just enough to get me to my goal of 180, 185 with minor fat increases and be able to keep that when i get off. Does anyone know of a good cycle that could give that? I've been researching winnie, and i would go with injectable if I have the choice to avoid any liver toxicity.

To keep solid gains should i use a bulking steroid for 2 weeks then equi with test for 8 after that? Also, what happens to your body when you come off steroids? does gaining muscle become harder? Or with a good PCT could you maximize natural gains and weight loss? sorry bout all the questions i just gotta know it all before i start.

Well when you quit taking them at your age you dick balls etc... quits working and you need to take a bunch of drugs to get it working. Bottom line is as you should know you are messing with your hormones, hormones that are not finished doing what God intended them to do. I will not hurt you to wait 3 years until your body is somewhat stable before you start doing permanant damage to yourself.

Hey dude,

So we cannot give you advice on a cycle, because you're under 21. I will answer some of your general questions though:

Side effects are large in variety. Everyone is at risk. They range from milder things such as acne and bad pumps, all the way to gyno and hair loss (and much worse).

Keeping gains is largely based around your PCT and maintenance after a cycle. The amount of gains you keep aren't overly dependent on the compounds you use, excluding ones that will bloat you with excess water weight.

Making LEAN gains is dependent on diet and training. It has much less to do with your compounds than most people realize.

Coming OFF can have a lot of impact on your body, hence the need for a good PCT. The impact varies depending on the person. Some people can crash due to dropping Test levels. Some people experience sex drive issues.

I'm not going to answer the other questions, because it's outside the scope/rules of what we can offer to under 21's.

Under 21 bro.

In all honesty...you are under weight. You need to gain another 40lbs natty before doing any gear. Thats the best advice anyone can give you.

Well, there's some good advice already, but let me toss in my 2 cents (cdn)...

6'2 and 165, lifting for 3 years...?

This is in no way meant as a retort! That being said: You need to work on your training program and DIET!

You should be looking at 4500 cals a day + 250+ grams of Protien a day. 1-2 gals of water a day as well.

Check out the diet section on the forums here and maybe rethink the way you've been lifting..

If you want advice on diet or training just ask and everyone here would be more then willing to help you out.. No ASS advice though.. But, you can read and read and read. There is a pluthera of information on this site.

Oh, and welcome to EF bro!

you sound like you got a good head on your shoulders. just focus on training and diet for a couple more years and try to get to around 200 lbs. and around 12-13% bf (or less if possible, but thats very hard to do if you are gaining 35 lbs).
welcome to EF, your access to bodybuilding information has just changed forever.

Ya I definitely wanna keep my balls haha. I'll just stick to whey protein and creatine for the next couple of years I got no problem with that, thanks for keepin it real. And in my defense Ezekiel I've come a long ass way in that time with the last year or so fully starting to understand the need for a proper diet, and walking around with a gallon of water in my hand. But I got a lot to learn, thanks for the advice I'll see ya'll in the supplements section.

Go easy on the protien shakes. What you need is FOOD. and a ton of it. A better training routine and enough sleep. As Goulan said....you are seriously under weight for your height. I was 170 @ 6'0" when I started. I can imagine 2 more inches with 5 less lbs. you must be a twig. (no offense)
I have no doubt whatsoever you could easily reach 200 lb natty with food and supps.

Sorry bro, I wasn't trying to saying anything bad...

The last thing most of us learn in regards to training is that the actual lifting is just a small part of building a good physique. It's all about diet and rest..

Good Luck!

When someone says that they have a good diet and training routine but are 6"2 with 165lbs obviously they are under the impression that they know how to eat and train but it isn't true i used to think that too and probably most of us at some point so you should first get your diet down properly post your current diet on the diet forum or go to a sports nutrition expert 'cause getting your diet right it's the most important and smart thing you can do then get a bulk training routine and you are set to gain 35lbs on naturaly and you are going to love it, it's so easy to do that at your age. But remember most important than wanting to do it it's to actually DO IT. don't loose any more time... Good luck.

Bro. Train natty for as long as you can. At your age you can train to full intensity to failure by isolating body parts each body part once per week. m-w-f. Get plenty of rest and recovery and with a great diet you'll get jacked. I promise. Rest and diet are the ultimate key along with the training.

Thanks for the info guys i appreciate it, I'm taking a nutritions course right at the moment also, so that oughta help with the diet, my biggest problem will just be eating enough calories, i seem to only eat to sustain, so i gotta change that. But other than that, i'm motivated as hell, and live right across from a gym. time to do work
