I've been working out for about six months now...I am a 47 yr old male trying to get back in shape before I get too old...lol
Anyway, about 3 months ago I hurt my shoulder while working out, although I didn't feel it at the time...I know I tried to lift way to much on a rowing machine and suspect that's what is causing my pain in my rotary cup on my right shoulder...I went to our doctor and he said my shoulder wasn't dislocated and gave me some anti-inflamatory meds, but those didn't seem to do much...I told him I wanted to keep working out and have, he didn't seem to care...so I try to work around the injury for now, but it's hard not to use your shoulders in any of the upper body lifts...I have another visit scheduled soon to see an orthopedic doctor and hopefully he can tell me what I've actually injured and what to do..
If any of you have had a similar experience with a rotary cup and can provide some insight or helpful advice on how to deal with it I would much appreciate that ..thanks for letting me talk
