What is EQUI-BOLAN?
Equi-Bolan is a steroidal precursor of the potent anabolic steroid boldenone. Androstadienedione is very similar in structure to the popular supplement androstenedione, and when administered will convert to active form via the same widely distributed body enzyme (17beta-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase). If you are not familiar with boldenone, it is the same anabolic steroid found in the injectable veterinary preparations Equipoise®, Ganabol, Ultragan and Equi-gan.
The activity of boldenone is highly anabolic, with only low to moderate androgenic potency. It is likewise an efficient builder of muscle tissue, although is much less apt to produce androgenic side effects (oily skin, acne, hair loss, body/facial hair growth) compared to an androgen such as testosterone. Lowered androgenic activity is largely due to an inability of this hormone to interact with the 5alpha-reductase enzyme, which is responsible for reducing testosterone to its more androgenic form dihydrotestosterone. Although a 5-alpha reduced version of this steroid (dihydroboldenone) is a more potent form, it cannot be produced in the human body in any appreciable amount.
Also contributing to its mild nature is the fact that estrogenic activity is very slight with boldenone. This is because its structure allows it to be notably resistant to aromatization, the natural body process in which androgens such as testosterone are converted to estrogens. If estrogen levels build too high in the male body, strong side effects may result including gynecomastia (female breast tissue development), increased body fat gain and water retention. This is often a significant worry with the use of testosterone or testosterone precursor hormones. Its extremely low affinity for estrogen conversion however makes boldenone and its precursor androstadienedione extremely unlikely to produce such side effects. Likewise we can expect the muscle gained with the use of Equi-Bolan to be of higher quality, accompanied by a much greater level of hardness and definition in the absence of excess fat and water retention.
Boldenone and Methandrostenolone:
Boldenone is also the base steroid used to produce methandrostenolone, a potent oral anabolic steroid once sold in the United States under the name of Dianabol. Dianabol is in fact just a methylated (altered with a c-17 methyl group to allow for oral dosing) form of boldenone, in the same way methyltestosterone is a methylated oral form of the androgen testosterone. Due to their similar structure the effects of Dianabol and boldenone are likewise very similar in the body, both compounds noted to exhibit greater anabolic potency compared to androgenic. Methylation however causes Dianabol to convert to a more potent form of estrogen (17alpha-methylestradiol), which is why it had always been considered to be more of a bulking agent. Boldenone in comparison is known to elicit a quality muscle mass gain.
How Supplied:
Each capsule of Equi-Bolan contains 50mg of a naturally occurring steroidal metabolite of the potent anabolic hormone boldenone (1-dehydrotestosterone). 90 capsules are packaged per bottle.
Dosage and Administration:
50mg of Equi-Bolan (1 capsule) should be taken per application, which is repeated two to three times daily. For maximum absorption take capsules on an empty stomach with 8 ounces of water. Due to its short span of activity in the body, doses of Equi-Bolan should be spaced as evenly as possible throughout the day to ensure the most stable concentration of boldenone in the blood.
Side Effects:
This product is a precursor to an active anabolic steroid hormone, and as such is capable of producing steroid related side effects when administered. This includes typical androgenic activity such as oily skin, acne, body/facial hair growth, mood changes and aggravated hair loss. Women should be especially cautious with the use of male steroid hormones, as they can potentially cause virilizing or masculinizing effects. A notable incidence of side effect may indicate a need to stop therapy. Use of this product may also cause an individual to test positive for anabolic steroids (boldenone) on a drug screen.
