Newbie Advice Please

Guys,

I've finally decided to take the plunge and I need some guidance. First of all I want to be safe and conservative as can be. My goal is to lose bodyfat/increase muscle mass and strength. Right now I'm 295-300 at about 24% BF.

What would be a good regimin to help me get into the 250-260 range with about 10-15% BF?

No drugs.Sound diet,lifting,and cardio regimen.First goal should be to modify your macronutrient/caloric intake.Emphasis should be on limiting carbohydrate/sugars first and foremost,and making lean proteins the mainstay of your dietary structure.Fats should be low to moderate,and in the healthy form(non-saturated).

I guess I should've mentioned I have a low natural testosterone level which contributes to my weight retention. It varies from 150-220. My Dr. is getting ready to start me on Androgel next month. He thinks it should help me lean out some.

Is there anything in particular that you are thinking about taking? Of course huckleberry is correct about dieting and reducing calories, however if you are thinking of taking a chemical approach then what types are you thinking?

Have never done any before. I'm 38. Have read about Deca and thought of doing the 200 mg a week for 8 week cycle.

What would you suggest for increasing the muscle to fat ratio?
