Also, I beleive an 8-8 team will make the playoffs this year in the NFC. But I'm not into math, so I couldn't tell you, who would be in, and who would be out if more than one team goes 8-8. All i know you hold the tie breaker with the Vikes.
So don't lose hope, just yet. Maybe it's just a discipline thing. Tom Coughlin is just too lenient on his players, and for that he isn't respected.

Sorry for the thread hijack. I agree New years is a stupid event. I don't have to have a reason to go to party, drink to much and then proceed to vomit all over myself. I can do that every night of the god damn year (which I do by the way).
