New to Gear, read this...

For all of you new to gear, never used, will use, or DID use and didn't get the results you want..

I've alway's been told by the vets and mods in here about how important eating is while on gear.
Well, here is a real life situation regarding this.

A while back, myself and 2 of my bros ordered some gear. We were amatuers, listening to no one, we ordered enough dbol for all 3 of us, for a 6 week cycle. I myself had heard that dbol was the best for just a quick boost in size and strength. Well, we started poping these things like tic tacs!! I had heard from the source we got them from to eat everything in site. I did to an extent, however, really didn't believe it would effect my cycle that much. I just thought we were all going to get huge!!
So, I went into week 3. I felt some strenght gains and was up about 3lbs. Shit results I know. My other bro lifted heavily, didn't eat for shit, didn't get the right sleep, (yeah he's a fuck) and gained no strength of size. He started claiming his shit was fake, and all this. The 3rd of us, had experienced older brothers in the family. They got him loaded up on protien and calories from day one. At 3rd week he was up 10lbs, and strength was through the roof. (getting my point)
End of cycle results:
Me: Gained total of 10lbs. (all lost now)
2nd Bro: Gained nothing (of course) and still says the shit was fake.
3rd Bro: Gained 23lbs in 6 weeks. Lost about 5-6lbs after cycle. But, still is keeping his solid 15lbs and is ready for another 4 months later.

Summary:
I want all beginners to understand this (cause I didnt'). With the SAME batch of dbol, we had a very small gain, a NO gain at all, and VERY good gain for dbol only. I never understood this until now. I hear a lot of people on this site, and around my gym saying the shit they have is fake, and their not gaining anything. Take a step back next time. Make sure you listen to the guy's of elite, eat properly and enough, get enough sleep, and don't wast your money like 2 of us did. In other words, the advise in here is worth your time to follow through with, if not you'll be the guy popping dbol like tic tacs and still a skinny fuck!

Well said, a lot of guys STILL dont understand the importance of diet. I think the message is getting across though and guys are paying more attention to their diet while on a cycle. Perfect real life example BTW...
 
Thanks guy's, and you are correct. This goes for natural lifting and health in general. But man, so many people crying fake, when its not. Its them.
 
good post - some guys are always looking for the easy way out....just pop a pill and forget about diet/rest/training. For me it's all about getting every bit of benifit i can while on AS - cause it's a waste of time/money and maybe your health if you don't.

Nothing beats eating, sleeping and training properly.
 
You truly have to listen to your body. Wednesday was a killer leg day for me, so by Thursday afternoon, I was dead tired. Ate a solid meal, went to bed. Woke up 3 hours later, cooked another meal and went back to bed.

Sleep, Eat, Lift. Repeat as desired.
 
Nothing angers me more then some fuck who thinks getting on a cycle will make them huge with out eating well or training hard.....

Im still a novice and when i got on my fist cycle i was clueless too. Lucky for me i had a partner who knew what he was doing...
 
Mule- I stay away from carbs late at night. In this instance, I was asleep by 5:30, up at 8:30 to eat my regular dinner (large chicken breast and small salad) and back asleep by 10:30. Not typical for me, just illustrating how you need to listen to your body as far as rest is concerned. As far as eating late at night, I have a pretty high metabolism, so I can eat anything while working out and still look decent. I just concetrate on my diet to try to squeeze evry bit I can out of my genetics.

I'm plateued out right now at 28 years old 6'2" 195 lbs. with about 10% BF. And that's with doing everything right. If I slip and start missing meals, rest or workouts, my body weight will start to drop. But, of course, I never slip. :fro:
