New to cutting....

New member
I am starting a cutting diet next week (a proper one instead of starving myself). My question is if I start consuming more cals then usual, will my body respond by storing it as fat because it isn't use to it. I am 6' 194 lbs. I plan on getting roughly 250 grams of protein, 150 grams of carbs, and about 60 grams of fat.

In the end it comes down to calories in VS calories out. Right there you are taking in around 2140 calories, which isn't that much. But if for some reason you do begin to gain fat instead of lose it, I'd check your carb sources and the times you are eating them. If carb sources are good and they are all coming in from earlier in the day, then I'd cut about 200 calories from the diet and see what you do with that.
