New Shinobi

Just picked it up. I think it's pretty badass and has "old-school" elements like it actually feels like the original Shinobi (i.e. a side scroller). It's frustratingly hard, it's mindless killing, and it's fast paced. Besides, it's pretty damn good graphics and a very interesting plot-line, so far.

Overall, i'm impressed although the graphics do seem kind of choppy for a game, these days--especially by such a big company like Sega. Maybe i'm spoiled by all the Resident Evil Zero and Metroid Prime I've been playing.

I have my sights set on Devil May Cry 2, next. Whoo hooo.

Original Shinobi was a bad ass game. Does it have the bonus rounds in between stages where you try and flick the chinese stars at the ninjas before they make it to the front of the screen?

No bonus levels. Definitely worth money, still.
