Apart from liking the way they work, they have about the best filtering I've had on glasses. They also have good eye-area coverage. I use them for running/cycling along with the usual walking and driving. Highly recommended.

I got the carbon/black iridium.

They are very light, unlike the original Romeos.

The fit is perfect for my facial geometry. They are new on shelves within the last few weeks so check em out. If I weren't an athlete I could never have spent $400 on them, but that helps justify it.

Are those heavy?

I like the Straight jackets my self.

they are heavier then the straight jackets, they have titanium frames = heavy but strong

Theyre really sweet but why the hell would people pay 400 for a pair of sunglasses? Are they really worth 300 more than a $100 dollar pair which is still expensive but is the most ill pay. If people didnt buy them theyd be 100 like most and then everyone would buy them. Id like to talk to their accountant.

If I were to pay that much I'd have gone with the Thump. Which has the built in MP3 player.

Oakely makes top-quality shades; the lenses are incredible, and can't be duplicated. Money well spent, IMO. I've had my A-wires for years.

Look very similar to my 3 year old C wires in Platinum/Gold Irridium

Very comfortable to me except that the lenses sit close to your eyes
wrapping around.

Good thing for most people but my eye lashes touch the lenses if I wear them real close. I still wear them, just not real tight against my eyes.

Just went and exchanged my Straight Jackets for Half Jackets. They fit alot better and I got Polerized lens with it for $160 total. These are very light and clear.

I have polarized arnettes and they are great. The lenses rival or exceed the quality of oakleys that i have tried on. IMO

I have tried both. Not really close at all. The color rendering on the Arnettes are darker than Oakleys in the same conditions.

oakley has lots of tests on their website where they tested just about every polarized lens on the market and perception and color contrast they beat everyone on the market by far.. you can look at their results on the website its called the private pilot test .. yes i understand it could be biased but they have been ranked in the top 3 sunglasses for the last 5-7 years so that has to say something!! They make good shit
