been concentrating on deadlifts lately.

snatch grip deadlift today 265lbs for one rep!

then i get home, not feeling exhausted at all, so i was just jumping around, and felt the adrenadline surge. so i tested my vertical.

30"!

WHAT? after deadlifts? seeing as the deads work those muscles needed to jump (which is why i'm doing them in the first place), i'd imagine that my vertical would have been shit. but man... i think i should start deadlifting as a warmup before vball/bball games!

Awesome work bro! For me deadlifting Pr's are coming fast, im going to do deadlifting tonight pretty heavy. I havn't gone heavy in a little while, so i hope i am good... You'll definetly be getting more PR's in the near future, keep it up!
 
Ok , I had a bad day.... I have had this cold for over a week and it was killin me in the gym today. I started off with deads... I felt fine til the last set...

Bar- a bunch
135-15
225-12
315-12
405-10
495 - only 2 ... last time i id it I got 4 , f*ckin cold

I felt sooo tired after that .I had nothing in me, for the rest of the workout. Colds Suck!
oh well i guesss thats decent.

The only other variation is when i do partial/ 1/4 deadlifts.. only go down to about knee lever, a little lower maybe. THis helps my strength a lot. try it out for a few weeks then deadlift again... you will go up, and use a lot for them too
