new powerlifter stats

are these good stats?
i will be competeing at a local apa meet in 3 weeks
i am 20 yrs old so i believe i will be in the junior class,shw
my current bench is 460, no shirt, but i am tryin my buddys shirt on tomorow, he says i will eclipse 5, but i am skeptical, 3 weeks to get used to the shirt, idk
and my deadlift is 580, so i figure itll probabaly be over 6 in 3 weeks, since i have only been deadlifting for 6 weeks, ever.
well i appreciate the info bros

Being only 20 those are good stats. I too compete in the APA and you will do good. You will only get stronger as you go. Good luck and tell Scott Taylor Jason From Fl sais hi!
 
He is the president of the APA and you will be giving your money to him. You wont miss him. I actually moved to Indy but was a regular at his bench meets.

20 years old......... 242 lb class..........305 bench........ 450lb squat............ 500 lb deadlift..............

these are small compared to most............. this would be my first contest but i have bodybuilding for 2 years and powerlifting for 8 weeks
 
I'm not a really a powerlifter but i use the basic 3 in all my routines. I'm gonna consider doing it when i'm done with football.

20 years old, 6' 260lbs
Bench- 445lbs
Squat- 625lbs x2
Deadlift- 520lbs

I think i'd do alright if i wasn't a heavyweight.
 
those are good stats boyz, looks like i got some comp, lol
i am a power bodybuilder by trade, lol meaning i train in the 3-12 rep range, i am now only throwin my hat in the power lifting ring,idk.
i figure ill proly do 2 comps a year, every six months, ill train like i do normally till 8 weeks out and then plunge into the triple range, and also lower my sets/volume,,,,,,

You guys are young. You will all be freakin beasts if you train right and supplement right. Hell you all are beasts to alot of folks now. Keep it up little bro's. (byt that i mean age not size)
 
thanks man.... im finishing up a dr squat program....... i start westside in 4 weeks

just wait..... wait until i 21...... you will be scared

wait till i start supplementing with the "muscle tech" stack, huh, then i will push major weight

Guys, all I can say is compete and do it for yourself. Break a personal record or two and maybe you will come home with an award. Have fun and get bitten by the power bug!

I am new to this too but here's mine:

Competing in the 198's (normal body weight is 225-240, benefits of a bodybuilding background)

Deadlift: 500 raw
Squat: 650 now (easily 700 by the meet) suit
Bench: 390 raw

I currently weigh 158 lbs. and I compete in the 165 lb. class.
I am competing in the Worlds in Reno, NV on November 15, 2001.

Here are my stats as of May 05, 2001:

Squat: 525
Bench: 335
Deadlift: 515

I will just be competing in the Deadlift at the worlds. The federation is WABDL.
 
Juice Junkie is one of my diciples! This Nov will be 2 yrs that i have been competing andf have over 20 meets under my belt. I currently weigh 230lbs and my current lifts are:

Sq 750lb plus
bch 625lb
dead 565

all lifts have been witnessed. Those arent my best meet lifts. I havent 3 lifted in almost a yr now. Took time to concentrate on bench. I still train the 3 lifts but my main goal is bench. My next 3 lift will be mid 2002 and i will go 2000plus probably on openers. My best bench meet was 585lbs for the Fl st record at 242. I have dropped weight from 248 to my current 230 to give my body a break. Dec will be back in running and will attend the Mich St bench bash for cash.
 
well i know no one cares

but i won my first meet
hit 525 on bench, almost had 550
hit a 575 on deadlift

got a lil work to do, im makin a sowin at one of the big meets next
