new pic -- Cycle update week 8 +30lb.s

Congrats man...good work.....keep us posted on how much you are able to keep. Maybe the next pic you could step back a bit - easier to compare to the first.

I also have poor genetics and I don't think you would have made that much improvement naturally in 6 mo. You made more improvement in 8 wks than I did in almost 2 years.

Sorry dude but thats bull, it would take many many years to reach your potential, and I would venture to say that nobody reaches it. Did you look like Mike Ashley before you touched roids?

starting a steroid regimen before your body has even been semi-properly trained is unintelligent and unproductive. anyone who starts steroids before they have built up their endurance, muscle, and tendon strength is just trying to rush themselves into quick gains. this could very well end up in extremely temporary gains or severe injury.

IMO!

I can't look at his pics, because the bandwidth is used up for the day. But pics aside, even if the kid looks like crap (not saying you do bro. LOL), why be so negative? He had the balls to actually post pics, and take some heat. Hell, I wouldn't even post a pic on this section of elite. Some of the 'bro's' find ways to cut up even guys with great bodies (I think Bouncer and saf had some haters).

You've made an important decision to get into fitness, and turn your life around. That takes a lot man. You obviously did your research, and weren't the average "I'm 16, I want muscles now!". Your moderate, sane doses show this. You have a positive attitude, and I am sure you will reach your goals if you keep at it. Good luck, and keep improving. :D

Results look VERY good. I agree that not too many people have the balls to post pics.

I think this natural potential stuff is bogus. Just start juicing when you KNOW youre ready. Simple as that.
agreed. i'm sure a very small % of people who choose to juice are totally maxed out or even close. the mainstream idea of gear is these drugs will get me where i want to be , alot sooner than goin' natural. and that is why 90% of the people on this board are using them ,or considering using them. "picture this" your bustin' your ass in the gym for 2-3 years ,and your alot farther than you were when you started. but you aren't seeing the gains like you once were. you are in a rut , you try everything to get the gains comin' again. but it just ain't happening. so you start looking at "STEROIDS". YOU READ ABOUT PEOPLE PUTTING ON 20-30 LBS OF MASS IN 8 WEEKS! so now you have got to give it a try. and there you have it, "a juicer is born". i'm not sure about the" not juicing until you have reached your genetic potentional " thing. dont get me wrong ,it sounds like it has some valor to it. but how many of us actually do it.:)

BTW, SuKY_GeNeTiCs, is the entire 30lbs muscle or does that include water/bloating as well? Also, what was your diet like during the cycle?

I do not disagree that someone should have SOME experience and that it would be optimal to have a base as well as experience, but I think the most important factor is the wisdom. As far as gaining strength quickly yes that can be a problem, more for some than others, due to the tendon etc issue I don't plan on touching Winny. I have also experienced problems gaining strength quickly, bothers something in my left arm elbow joint, so I do reps slowly, and grow faster with slow reps anyway, thats an easy way to drop the weights down.

For people who say you should reach your genetic potential FIRST though, thats a bunch of bull, and frankly I doubt many people who say that are anywhere near it natural OR otherwise, I all too often find guys smaller than me on thier 4th cycle, and I am NOT that big, yet.

Frankly its a bunch of BS, 16" arms etc and people think they are maxed out, they swear thier diet and training is good, then they post that they eat coco puffs for breakfast with OJ, subway sandwhich for lunch, rice and beans for dinner, give me a damn break. It takes so long to reach genetic potential that I seriously doubt anyone reaches it, certainly someone like Ronnie is way up there on the freaking ladder, but how many guys start when they are up to 260 pounds, not that damn many, hardly anyone is even up there after serveral cycles. I still am supprised and dissapointed when I'm on a board, someone has done 4 cycles, they post pix and they are smaller than me looking like they've been working out seriously for 6 months. I think diet is the biggest sin that people lack in, not just in knowlege but simple ability to follow a good diet if they know they should be eating better.

There is alot of wisdom to starting with a good base, because that proves to yourself you want to do it, you know what your doing with diet/training, and I think those are the most important 3 issues to cover. I say again, look at how many people say "dont start until your maxed out", and then ask when they started, and I bet you will be dissapointed 99% of the time. I am not Ronnie nor do I pretend to be, but I have been around off and on for 15 years, and there are all to many people who just refuse to look into thier diet further and refuse to work hard on a regular basis.
