Law student accused of steroid distribution

Police are investigating two Albuquerque men in connection with an operation that they believe was shipping large amounts anabolic steroids from New Mexico to customers all over the country.

Neither man has been arrested yet, but the case will go before a grand jury next month. Investigators hope charges will be filed after that.

For the second time in two years, 26-year-old Mario Benavidas has been linked to illegal steroid selling.

News 13 has obtained police documents that detail Benavidas alleged past and current operations.

He's currently on probation for distribution charges out of Socorro County, but just days before that sentence came down, the University of New Mexico law student was investigated again--this time in Albuquerque.

In October, police received a tip that two men may be conducting illegal drug activity through the mail, prompting narcotics detectives and the postal inspector to stake-out a Westside post office.

During their surveillance, 25-year-old Dominic Olona was seen picking-up packages that officer believe contained drug shipments. Officers followed Olona to a restaurant parking lot on the Westside where Olona allegedly met up with Benavidez. Police say they witnessed the two men talking and exchanging packages.

Police confronted both men and obtained search warrant for their vehicles, in which they found hundreds of vials of animal and human steroids.

Based on additional evidence, police say they believe the two men were running an online steroid business, supplying hundreds of people all over the country.

Investigators say the shipments came and went from Texas, California, Tennessee, Georgia, Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey.

KRQE News 13 attempted to contact Benavidez’s attorney for comment, but he didn't return any calls. Neither Benavidez nor Olona answered the door at their homes when KRQE News 13 attempted to seek comment.
 
All these busts that I have read about lately have been with guys who deal mexican stuff. It's prolly a better idea to go with an intl human grade source or get UG stuff. If things keep going like they are, the mexican stuff will be too pricey to be worth it. One of the reasons that stuff is so cheap is because of all the competition out there.

damn, tell me, is that all the govt agencies have to worry about! the juice isnt the worst thing to hit the market. clean up the crack, heroin, meth, and leave our juice to us.

In the article it says that back in October was when this went down, although it says neither have been formally arrested yet. About what time do you know of that he disappeared from the boards? I never dealt with him so I am not sure myself. Just remember seeing the name over at meso before they canned the classifieds.

I hear ya bro, How many times do you hear about steroid deals gone bad and people getting shot over them? How many times do we hear about people knocking off liquor stores to get money for their juice? How many bros have lost their families and cant keep a job because of steroids? NONE!!! The people who juice are not criminals....hell even the fucking cops are juicing, but they'll bust your ass in a heart beat if they catch you with any....I'm going to stop now because I can rant about this subject for hours.
 
There is no need to rant about "steroid users do not rob stores " etc...and all that bulshit..i agree of course...we are all just in a majority goo dbros most who have their own businesses or are very succesfull in general compared to normal peeps....its in our blood to be the best and succeed...just like Arnold...weather in the gym or in life. The people who make the decisions do not give a shit about any of this it is just like the FDA its all about money, power, and more money.
 
Regardless if we like it are not roids are still illegal. If you want to play you've got to be willing to pay the price. It's just rather you want to take that chance or not.

Yeah, we could all go on about this bro. I hate the BS too.
 
It's a shame that they got busted. If they were doing legit business and not scamming people then that really sucks. It's a HUGE risk these sources take so don't forget to thank your source everytime you get an order and don't cry if you don't receive your stuff an hour after you ordered it. It's risky enough ordering the stuff... I can't imagine trying to supply it. Props to all good sources!

1) use pre-paid shipping boxes

2) for heaven's sakes -- don't use the same post office when dropping off shipments!

3) pay a mexican to drop it off

someone posted on outlaw that they had sent money to Olano when ordering from glox and the whole old glox/new glox drama was when he was busted before like the article says. but who knows, maybe just coincidence.

Word is that was "Glox"...But if so he was busted MONTHS ago...So this just being publicly released NOW means that it was kept under wraps by LE as they were probably trying to work out some leads from it...
 
The bad part is that I may have to put 2 and 2 together while reading the article...It says that the subjects recieved packages from Tennesee...The product that I have been trying to get comes from Tennesee and the bro is not answering Emails. Damn that sucks!

Either he fucked someone over or someone was Jealous and wanted to take him out because it was taking someones business but I really doubt that!!!. So if there was not tip this bro would still be in the game!!
