New Job oppourtunity

went and applied at a new bar opening here in town, the head of security liked me and said he is reccomending me so hopefully all goes well,I should know soon because they open this weekend.

downfall is long hours 8-3am tue-sat but I dont start school on wed till 1030,thur12 and fri 1030 so I will take it.

this guy also sounds like he has his shit together,offering more self defence training ,searches at the door or no entry,cross training so we know every position in the bar, and minimum 5 guys bouncing plus outside security company for the searching.

this place sounds like heaven compaired to my current place which is now moving into knife violence.

good new is I am still alive and Ireland is kicking ass in the worlds


anyway I will keep you guys posted on this as soon as I can,my home pc is in the shop for a few days.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this sounds a lot more like it!!!! plus long hours = more money, so it is not all bad, sounds well organised and having a head guy there is a good thing to have, hope you get it. If not ask him if he has any more bars or ask him to put in a reccomendation for you.

he said he would reccomend me to his boss who has the final call,he took me for a coffee for my interview which was great and makes me think he really liked me. plus we were both military and he kept going on about that. Im counting the time until the call

Howaya Rob , glad to hear that things are goin well for you in the Bouncing game, some good memories and some good laughs to be sure.
AS regards Ireland in the Worlds , we will be very much up against it this weekend with the Wallabies , watch this space closely.

I got it boys,went by home to get some money to go out for lunch and the call came. this is my last weekend at my old job,I plan to tell the boss sometime next week that I am through.

In regards to Rugby I do believe Ireland will have a tough road ahead but they will win, if not I will still get to hear Irelands call which sends chills down my spine.
