I went from a job were i sat on my ass all day , to a job that requires physical labor and i sweat my ass off all day.

I been making good progress with my 5x5 routine , it my 4th week into it. (also been off gear for 4 months now)

And now with the new job I have no nergy at the gym, I feel like Im back to week one of my 5x5 , just feel week :worried:

I also just recived my amplify02 and lipoflame so im gona start that and see if it helps.

What should i do , reduce the intensity of my workout, or just grit my teeth and hope my body adjusts?

I felt real discourage at the gym today :(

Did you adjust your diet for the new found energy expeniduture? that could be one reason..

but grind it out bro!

Also might just need time to get adjusted to the new routine. I know starting a new job routine always screws the gym up for me. I think the amplify and lipo should give you the energy, but make sure you adjust that diet also because you are definitely using more calories during the day than you used to. If non of this works I would definitely not change my intensity I would just go to the gym less. Just stick to it, I am sure your body will just take some time to get used to the new routine.

I'm seriously considering going back to school for a diffarent carreer for this very reason. I've been doing construction for the last 3 years. I'm fuckin sick and tired of sweating like a fat cow for eight hours straight at work , and then trying to squeak a workout in at the end of the day.

I will be making less if I make this change, but it will be worth it to me. I will be in terrible shape when I am older if I stay doing this.

if you dnt mind me askin, what do you do?

Adapt and overcome man, thats what bodybuilding is all about. I'd like to sympathize with you, and in the past I would of, but I've seen too many people who do manual labor still kick ass w/ their fitness goals and even competitions. Jay Cutler used to do construction work as a teenager, I know a guy who owns a tree service and is out there in the hot sun all day climbing trees, and the fucker is HUUUUGGGEEEE. Like 270 straight shredded. I know of a national level competitor who will probably get his pro card within the next year and he works in a hot ass welding shop full time. And 8 hrs a day doing construction and your bitching? dude, I used to put in 10-12 back when I did construction, and worked most Saturdays half a day.

50 + year old dude at my gym is on roofs all day tending to business and is over 250 shredded at my gym. i asked him how he does it and he showed me one of those large coolers in his truck and said i fill it in the morning and its empty by the time i get to the gym at night.

Maybe start setting up a gym in your house, that's what I did.

I go to work at 3:30AM so I get up at 1. Lift and shower/eat then all day at work I know when I get home I can do whatever I want....If you have the means and space I highly recommended it.

Home gym would be awsome if I had the room for it, But i dont think i could wake up at 1

waking up now at 4 is hard...

This is far from ideal, but you can smash two workouts together on Saturday and Sunday and then aim for going in on Tuesday and Thursday during the week. Also I would up those calories big time. After you adapt to the new workload you should be good. The stimulants can help, but food is the best stimulate/energizer there is.

Bump by 500 a day and try that for a couple days and if not bump again by 500.

Can you get home and take a quick nap and then head to the gym?

you only really need to hit the gym hard 3 days. you could do this friday, saturday, and sunday

friday - chest and bis

saturday - legs and shoulders

sunday - back, tris, and traps

then the rest of the week your good. saturday is the only sucky day as you are going to have to choose which bodypart to hit hardest.

ya i didnt think a new job would affect me this much,

I dont know about weekend, that usally my rest time. And I always drink alil bit one day out of the weekend.
