hey Digger (or anyone but digg was the only one responded when I was writing this)did you happen to see the original trailer? i didn't like it, it was too campy I thought with the full exposure of the mark 1 suit and the "I am Iron Man" lyrics blasting away. that's really a-typical for a trailer to put that much exposure into something that isn't even really the focus of the film, i could see how people not in the know would be like "eh so what, a film about some big junky looking metal robot with machine guns?" This ones better cut and the music works a lot better.

First trailer was a work-in-progress thing, sure. This one is WHOA! the right attitude all the way.

Loved the "This isn't the worst thing you've caught me doing." I read somewhere that Paltrow's husband is a big Iron Man fan and talked her into taking the part.

In the comic book, Pepper (Gwyneth Paltrow) started out as a plain-Jane with mouse brown hair and freckles. Then they gave her a makeover to turn her into a hot redhead. It's easy to say it was just about eye candy, but that "makeover" story also echoed the essential thing about the whole Iron Man story. When the chips are down, can you RE-MAKE YOURSELF?

That's something that people here can really relate to, right?

From what I have heard industry-wise, Robert Downey Jr., easily one of my top 10 (or higher) favorite actors, flawlessly handles Starks character. So glad he got this role.

Very excited to see this!
