new info on dude who lost his leg

just cause i only have 2 post does not mean im lieing. this is facts. i never said i knew the dude. but his ex girlfriends father who trains at my gym asked me if i remember him. i said no im bad with names. he had a folder with pics in it of mike yes that is his name. and i looked them over and rememberd him when he was younger.the pics did not show his leg off but of him posing. and mike is still in hospital and has many more surgries ahead of him. his leg and hip are gone. its a fleah eating virus. docs do not think roids played a part but not ruling anything out. doc said it is very uncommon but it does happen. story is started with a sore lump went to doc doc missdignosed it three times on the third day he couldnt even stand.got atmitted to hospital and his leg was dead. he is a national lever competor and lives in nc. so im sure its the same guy.

mods if you wanna know his last name ill give it to you. i dont wanna post it open. not sure if he or his family would like that.

oh and at my gym in upstate ny when he and i are from is taking donations for him and family.

Yeah......I think Samoth called that one early on...........Necrotizing fasciitis.....infection that becomes resistant to penicillin etc.....

necrotizing faciitis maybe? nasty bacterial infection.... dealt with a few cases back in the day as a PT assistant. can be very hard to deal with.

basically i don't understand why your making a thread to tell

a story about some persons leg . .

What's the point of this thread? To get sympathy?

It is an interesting story from the power lifting perspective but not from a steroid angle.

I feel bad for anybody who wakes up less one limb or 2.

cause there was a post here already. so i add and someone called me a lier. i didnt start the talk about this. but i got info and thought i would share it. thats all
