Can I throw out a new idea on post cycle recovery?
After long and brutal cycles, doesnt it make sense to go on a "temporary" hrt cycle like 100-150 mg e7 or e5 days for 2-3 months.
This would allow your system to normalize as much as possible to a "normal" amount of testosterone in the system. Comming off of this type of bridge,HRT, or what ever you want to call it has worked for me after a 22 week 1 gram per week cycle.
I knew my system had "normalized" when I began to get good Am wood EVERY morning during my HRT dosage cycle. I had actually lost good am wood after about week 18 and it took only about 2 weeks at 150mg of Test E5d to get the AM wood back. There has to be something going RIGHT when your AM rythm returns to normal, or returns at all. I did a 6 week HRT cycle if you will, with good AM (real good actually) wood after about the first 2 weeks. I went cold turkey after that and my AM wood began to taper off to a more normal level, but didnt go away.
I think we need to listen to what our bodies are telling us.
I am really thinking these days that going cold turky and hitting a 2-4 week PCT cycle just isnt the only way to skin the cat.
I have gleened a lot from posts by us older guys on HRT. I think there is something to be learned from us older guys who have had low or depressed Test levels prior to ever hitting the juice.
For me, it was just hard to relate to being in my 20's and doing gear, because I had forgot what it felt like to be "NORMAL". After doing an HRT cycle, It kind of reminded me what normal was.
I really am leaning towards tapering, cruising, or HRT after every cycle from now on for 4-6 weeks with just good old testosterone. It just makes sense to me that this approach might very well be the best way to get your hormone system back to normal after using gear. No matter what the cycle length or amount or type of gear used.
OK Let me have it, iam ready!! LOL
