New Here....need advice.....

Whats up guys....been reading this board for a while and find it to be very informative with members who know what they are talking about. I come here to contribute as well as ask for advice.

Question....

Early febuary, I went on an all protein diet....4 weeks of 0, thats right 0 carbs.....and after that less than 20g a day. I started at 225 (of FAT)and now weigh 185. Not bad for 2.5 months. I work out as well, and results have been pretty good. Chest got bigger and everything got a lot tighter. I take an ISOPURE shake (3g carbs, 50g ion whey protein) during my workout and a MYOPLEX bar (3g carbs 29g protein) (cookies and cream of course) later that day. Recently, the weight loss has slowed to about 3 lbs per week.

Whold anyone like to contribute (good or bad comments..open to all suggestions) about how I can improve weight loss and muscle buildup....for reference....


Food....
NO breakfast...if I do eat one...itll be like 3 eggs and bacon, 2 glasses water.


lunch.....huge steak...little bit of salad (greens only) roughage...

snack....myoplex bar

dinner.....leftover steak or some chicken.

Exercise program...

Run on treadmill for a mile
total body weight lifting....chest, legs, arms...the works...

missing breakfast is a bad idea and try to get some EFAs (Essential Fatty Acids) in your diet.
dropping carbs doesnt mean weight loss, creating a caloric defecit does so if you've stalled losing weight it's probably you're either in caloric balance or you're not taking into account that you weigh less thus need less calories if you're eating the same. Also the leaner you get the more efficiently you burn a calorie (Metabolic Adaptions) so you'll need less calories the leaner u get
 
Thanks for the input...I started on the Atkins diet....but I dont know what I am on right now....seems like the CKD diet. I dont usually eat breakfast for 2 reasons....I get sick when I eat right when I wake up, plus, since I bartend....( I do NOT drink) I get home really late and have a vampire existence....I sleep until like 2pm. So breakfast is usually a no no for me. I have about (looks like it) another 30lbs or body fat to burn (however my BF% is about 14%)...and I think I have some decent muscle under there. My calves are huge..soccer and hocker for many years.....how can I lose the 30lbs of fat, but keep my muscle. THanks for the help again.....
