Nothing much , just wanted to let you all know a few things that i tried in the last week.
1. was the zercher deadlifts(sumo) as i cannot get down conventional. i thought these were great for my lower back and got a good pump in it after doing these after pull throughs. I think i will keep them around now and then. (thanks for the reminder Hannible)
2. Tire flipping. Did these Sat. after fridays DE sq day. These are tough stuff. Don't know how big the tire was but i did 4 sets of ten flips and was completely out of breath after each set. Iwould imagine it was around 300 lbs or so. I'm gonna alternate saturdays between tire flips and sled dragging.
3. Band Hip work. You know the one where you put a doubled mini or average band around your knees and flex out. well i did these this week on a bench which was higher than parallel and they were tough as usual. But out of the blue i sat down on a 4-6 inch below parallel bench and did them and they were sooo much harder. these lower ones actually cramped up my hips after each set. I think i will do them on a lower bench from now on.
Just thought i'd let ya'll know.
