I might actually become a competitive powerlifter now that there seems to be a solid federation.

NY is not that far from NC. I see most of the meets are there.

The New England Record Breakers is in Massachusetts. It's not actually a federation but an invite only event featuring elite lifters from around the world.

But there are a number of solid raw and drug free federations. Here''s a good list where you can compare powerlifting federations.
