I will be moving to a new master planned community at the end of the year. I want to open a buisness there and am having trouble deciding which way to go. My drem is an electricail contractor, but it is to small for a union contractor. My other thoughts are a franchised fast food or Starbucks or a daycare. This is a brand new city built from scratch and centered around a PGA village and lots of Golf Courses. My wife is an accountant and the fianancing/startup isnt a big deal. Any advice would be great, The population build up will be slow for the first few years but should end up between 250,000 and 500,000. It is 50 miles north of Las Vegas

What price range? That makes a difference on what they will buy or need.

Alot of retirees, but plenty of 30' and 40's couples escaping las vegas. Will be a higher end community with prices starting in the 300,000's and shooting up. I think the target in ten-twenty years is 400,000. Most of the people I know moving there are in the 120k plus range.
