I am going to be bulking up this winter I think.. right now I am trying to lose the rest of my bodyfat!!

This formula is great if you have a high metabolism and can't gain weight..........

Meal 1 - 6 : 70 grams of protein, 50 grams Carbs, 20gm Fat


BUT....if you are an endomorph, and have worked your ass off getting lean,,, i suggest this while bulking....

Meal 1 - 3 70 grams of protein, 100 grams of carbs, 0 grams fat

Meal 4 - 6 70 grams of protein, 0 grams carbs, 40 grams Fat

Alwayz seperate tha drugs. jK always seprate cARBS AND fat (if you are an endomorph)

Great info. Two questions, though. (I'm 200lbs, btw, which fits your example well).

1. Why does fat intake have to be so high? I do some cardio in the AM while bulking, so instead of 300g/carbs 120g/fat, would it be bad to do 400g/carbs 70g/fat (or whatever) instead?

2. Unrelated (separate thread topic?), but I've been reading that generally carbs should be taken earlier in the day, not later. Why?

How about....

Say I work out for about 1 hour 4 times and do 1 hour of cardio on workout days (i.e. also 4 times a week) while bulking. Does this change anything?
 
Alpha Lipioc Acid on Mr. X's diet

Hi What about using high doses of Alpha Lipoic Acid on the diet instead of insulin? I haven't used insulin before and I don't want to meet the guru Dan Duchaine anytime soon! besides Lipoic Acid has a simmilar type of effect as insulin but it isn't as strong as insulin (I know). So is there some ALA dose that is comprable to about 5 IU's of insulin? What about like 800 mg of ALA? Would this work-I think I am gonna try it out-Mel
 
Sounds very good bro. Couple questions
You say day1-3 to enter keto and days3-7 for the diet?
Do you have to cycle that 1-3/1-7 or after day 3 are you good for weeks?

but im wondering why some people can get fat and other can remove fat when they use insulin :confused:

I've registered for both sites, with 2 different email addresses, and have not got a confirmation link yet in either email address, i can login but the bulking basics article is still restricted to me, I read one of the ckd articles fine on massmonsters, but other than than some areas are still restricted, whats up with that?

i cant get logged in to massmonsters. this iss pissing me off. i have been trying to get mr.x 's shhets for 3 weeks now and i am about to choke slam my fucking computer. if any one over at mass monsters can help me i would love it. (mr.x) i have a user name and password but it isnt working. it tells me i havent confirmed my email, but i am pretty damn sure i have. grrrrrrrrrrr! ok i ll count to 10 now..........

ALA is not like insulin. It does not activate the insulin receptors, instead it upregulates the insulin receptors increaing insulin sensitivity. Thus have an insulin like effect(same amount of insulin, + being more sensitive comes down to the same effect of having more insulin receptors affected) This is why its not comparable. It is also very variable depending on personal insulin resistance.
