I used to live in the boonies in a small town in S.C., down one road lived the grand dragon of the KKK and a mile down the other way was a nudist camp. My friend and I were doind freelance construction work and they would always call us to work on their decks. Every year they would host "Nude fest", where people come from all over the U.S. Yes folks, I was there for Nude Fest 98', it was like a naked woodstock. All the bands were naked and everything. I do think there is a difference between nudist camps, and nudist resorts. Resorts are a bit more upscale, so you might run into the occasional semi-attractive milf. To bring your kids with you is disturbing.

I've been to a naturist resort. Honestly, among the true naturists there is nothing sexual about it. I honestly like the feeling of my skin being exposed to the outdoors. I do admit to being a bit of an exhibitionist but trust me, I didn't go to the naturist resort looking to get laid. If sex is what's on your mind when going to one of these places, you will likely be disappointed. Go to a swingers club instead.

Raina, yes it is considered proper etiquette to carry a towel to sit on. Some clubs even make this a requirement.
