I have to admit I that we havent seen eye to eye on a few things but I have always valued and truely listened to everything you've said..except some of your harsh comments you've made to me.
Regardless of all that. I like to hear your views on two things if you don't mind taking the time. I would like to hear your view on the amount of muscle mass you would truely expect to gain and keep after a cycle.. I have heard you say about 10lbs and no more. Are you speaking of before or after your genetic potential is reached. I realize no matter how much crap you hit yourself with your bod can only physically produce so much. Kind of a vague question but please feel free to try and answer detailed as possible.
The other thing. I am currently recovering from a motorcycle accident and wondering about your views on HGH as far as healing properties. Tendons, ligaments, and of course some torn muscle here and there. Do you think the cash (would cost about $3000 for 6 months from my current people). I am of course looking forward to my next cycle of cyp. and dbols with possibly some anavars thrown in throughout the duration but obviously can't do anything untill I recover. I know you think the healing properties of deca is mostly myth and don't know if I want to touch it anyways. Can you think of anything else that could help besides glucosamine and all my normal vits???? Nelson any info you can give would be truely appreciated.

T20 : Sorry to hear about your accident and I'm sorry if what I've said in the past sounded mean. I answer dozens of e-mails everyday, as well as give consultations, training sessions and also have music students. So it's non-stop instruction and I get a little short tempered at times, but usually only when provoked. I can't remember anything specific that we've discussed so let's start fresh, shall we?

I don't believe HGH is a good choice. I feel the effects are over rated and underestimated in termss of negitiv e side effects. And GH, like steroids, will supress natural hormone production.

I also have no idea what kind of rehabilitation/therapy program you're on. Naturally, any steroid will aid in repair but it would seem useless unless you were exercising.

Without more information, I'd say take every natural pathway possible. Glucosamine, condroiton, Vit C, etc. MSM is VERY important. Once you're able to do light weight training , (and stretching) I'd recommend a highly anabolic AAS such as Primo and/or Var to aid in the repair and recovery.

Thanks Nelson I am trying to get some Var because its the only thing I would like to take right now AAS wise. I am in therapy but def. nothing heavy, hell nothing light for that matter. I think I will use your advice to finalize my decision of not taking the HGH. I think I may try it when I get older and my Nat levels are way down. Thanks again for the response and starting fresh is ok by me. If you do find the time would you mind commenting on your views of the cycling and permanent mass kept. I've just heard you say many times 10lbs is usualy the max IYO. I will be ordering your book soon, I am very intrested in a lot of your opinions regardless if I agree with them or not. Its always good to keep an open mind. (for most things anyway) Thanks again
 
His books are great! Not very detailed IMO but I truley enjoy reading them.

Um.. I think you might annoy him by asking cycle questions. He posted his favorite cycle many times... do a search on his name...

well.. completely disagree.. GH is probably a very good addition post "accident" particularly with tendon or ligament damage...

I agree with Macro... As much as I think GH is great for a bodybuilder, I think it is even GREATER for someone who is in your situation... or one like HHH where he tore his quadracep.

Anabolics will only HELP in the recovery of your injuries. Anavar is good... I would probably shy away from Winny... possibly Deca... I know several people who used it to help rehabilitate shoulders and knees... and it helped them out.

what if the injury is 1 or 2 years old... i herniated 2 discs in my neck and have yet to make a full recovery and i am not yet able to compete/fight at the level i use to.

i have been told by many that GH would not help me.. for many reassons.. again this is was all relative to the fact that the injury was a herniated disc and that it happened a while ago..

many people have said that gaining extra muscle mass around my neck/back (and all over) would help prevent further damage and a re occurrence of the injury..

also many have recommend prolotherapy injections over GH therapy for the injury..
 
I think for the HGH there is too much controversy. LOL some say its the best damn thing in creation and others say its the biggest waste of money. The cost is too much at this point for me to risk. If I could get the doc to prescribe it and have the asshole's insurance pay for it I'll jump on it for six months. I think no doubt when your older its the way to go....... I'll continue my research but for now I will hold off on it (out of my pocket expense anyway) I was at the docs today but didnt have time to speak about it. He ordered three MRIs for me so I am sure I will have to wait for those results before I bring it upp anyway. I did think of deca but I don't really want to mess with it untill I am able to lift again (at leats light) Thanks for all the replies

Strengthing muscle around those injured disks will help to stableize them... and prevent further injury, my mother has around 8 herniated disks... from her neck to her lower back... after a car accident.

I have 2 compressed disks... and I used GH for 2 months, and my back felt wonderful after I got done... even today, it feels better than it did prior to my GH usage... granted, it still can act up, but I don't get the "I can't walk" and the knocking air out of my lungs feeling anymore. :)

c-ditty.. what dosage/schedule did you use for gh therapy..

also did u stack it with anything... what about weight gain...any info would be great
