I have found that dextrose is cheap and works very well for me post workout. Malto also works the same, I cannot tell the difference. You stated in your post that you will not notice the difference in whether you go with dextrose or fructose in your PW shake. Sure, you might not notice, but when you break it down, the GI in the carbs, would I rather go with dextrose than fructose? yes. You might not physically notice the difference, but you might not notice the difference if you take vitamens or dont take vitamens, i personally choose to take them.

If dextrose is a joke, what exactly would you consider a good post workout drink? You have graced us all with what you consider a joke, now please grace us with something we can compare it to.

When someone disagrees with something, this usually means that they have a different view on the subject. So lets hear it.

Also, you mentioned giving in to the salesman's fake scientific knowledge, as far as i know, I have yet to see a post workout supplement consisting of nothing but dextrose. From what I have seen, all of the supplements sold with the pitch "Post Workout" contain more than one form of sugar, most have fructose in them.

This is a perfect example of how someone can misinterpret a post, as well as misquote the original statements, and then demand that I address their misinterpretations.

It's all starting to come back to me why I left.

I am only responding to an exact quote. that is all. You still have yet to answer my question that i posted here and in your thread, just like I thought.

No problem, I will repeat it for you:

It has reached catastrophic levels at EF.

nelson... are you saying not to pay extra for dextrose?

It's the revenge of the "a-hole brigade." Piss 'em off by not responding.

As I posted in Nelson's thread, he wants to stir up curiousity on his views, he throws around strong views that tend to stray from the norm, never posting any facts, making people wonder if this guy knows some kind of secret, all in the hope that he will stir up enough curiousity that at least one idiot buys his book. Why do you think he will tell everyone that certain beliefs are jokes to him, yet he will not begin to explain his view on the topic. Give me a break.

"DEXTROSE? Get Real!

I've noticed some posts lately concerning he use of dextrose as a good "transport" carb in a post workout protein drink. What a joke."

You are stating that the idea of dextrose as a good "transport" carb for post-exercise use is foolish. How else would we interpret this?

If your point is that sucrose is just as good as dextrose, say that. If your point is that high GI carbs are NOT "good "transport" carb<s> in a post workout protein drink, say that.

Don't use misleading statements to bait interest.
