He finished picking out his favorite parts of the trail mix until nothing was left except peanuts. He looks at me and says, "Want my nuts?" Mitch, another black kid playing cards says, "Shut the fuck up Jerry, he isn't dumb enough for your tricks." I entered my cell and cried myself asleep. Again.

but I remember theirs like it was yesterday
one dude was missing a couple of fingers and I didn't notice till about mid-way through
even playing cards
he gave me the "thumbs up" as my name was called to get released
and it meant something to me

I also learned in jail that Tom Clancey is crap

and having already read some horrible "western"
I bargained with the old guy to get his copy of "rainbow six"
about 900 pages
and I worked out the pace I needed to complete before I was free
I got about halfway through
prefering to pace around than read that shit

Well they had nick names for each other, or called each other by their last names. This was a juvenile jail by the way. Jerry Lee fit him but the guard even called him that.

yeh, i went to visit my bro in jail and i was only allowed to bring 10 fucking dollars in....NOTHING more than that, no wallet, just ID and car keys and 10 bucks


well i had a quarter and a few pennies in my pocket when he checked me and said normally he would NOT let me in, if you walk out the door at the beginning you can not come back in that day, but since it was my first visit he let me in.......they are dickheads in that place, and my bro told me all the contraband that is in there is brought in by the guards and sold to the prisoners.....fucking corrupt place i tell ya

typically location was
"birmingham" for example
my group of 12 included 3 mexicans
young kids
one was busted in atlanta with 14 lbs of pot
he had kids of his own back home
I caught him a time or two crying in his bunk
 
the coolest thing was the black guys explaining to the mexicans their charges and how to deal with it etc. etc.
their english being poor

I have some experience but in today's world I haven't in some time seen such cooperation between peoples of divergent backgrounds as I did in my 5 days of jail

nigger hair care products make for great beat off lube
it has staying power and isn't as icky as vaseline
wouldn't use it on a chcik unless you were about to do some ass fucking

Well where I was if you so much as said something to start something, let alone hit or touch anyone, you got 72 hrs. in the cell.

the stairs were iron and corrogated so you needed some cloth for your hands
I figured this routine out myself

well, i guess i dont care enough to know about what started all of it, but it sounds like the kid is a POS... but needto should know better.. kicking someones ass wont change the past and usually it doesnt even feel good afterwards (because then their are legal issues)...

sounds like it should have been handled differently and the kid should be the one in jail, instead needto didnt think things out and screwed his family. there are times when you need to (hey, i said needto) protect your family by doing the right thing, the legal thing.

Yeah, but how many guys on here, when relating or hearing Needto's story about his brother, would say "I'd kill him", or "I'd knock him into next week", or some such thing.

4Ever- they wont let me send him anything but letters. He has to pay for every thing out of a canteen that they keep charge of.Boy can't even cut his hair without paying 15 dollars. They even had a nerve to charge 30 dollars for the med eval, go figure!

Well we talked tonight, he said he should find out on monday where they want to place him, hoping it will be at the cac.

sorry gf and i know its not much but if he went to jail for kicking the butt of someone who was giving his brother drugs then good for him
There is a righ and wrong way to do things but when its your blood you only think of the way that helps them right away. I used to take up for my little brother alot
although i am the one that got 8 stitches put in his eyebrow line, i could mess with him, but noone else could
you knwo where i am gf and if u need to talk, vent or just play yahtzee, im here(unless im at work)

i'm sorry it seems like that but i'm speaking the truth.. our country has laws for a reason... did the guy needto hit even do what they say? we dont know for sure all we know is what was said.. thats what courts are for.

needto and his dad are being sued by this kid... why? there has to be something more then what this thread has stated.

why weren't charges pressed against the kid needto hit in the first place? did needto's family not take this matter up with the police?

needto is not the fucking judge, not the fucking jury, and definitely not the executioner, yet he took matters into his own hands...

and it sounds like he had time to THINK about what he did. it didnt happen right when he found out about his brother, he had time to think, and thats important.

what if needto hit this kid and the kid died? then needto would have fucked his entire family over... for what? for revenge?

there are reasons for laws, and this is one of the reasons.

I TOTALLY understand why needto did what he did. I'm sure we'd all want to. My thought is- once you have kids, they should be your number one priority, even if it means not always doing what you want to do, so you can stay safe and continue to be the breadwinner of your family and care for your children.

I'm glad its a relatively short time that he will be away, and i feel really bad for angel and the kids, but laws are there for a reason. I'm not judging needto for what he did- please don't get me wrong. I don't think violence is the answer is all.

You're right, of course. I'd just be hard pressed not to do what Needto did. I've known people who have gotten away with stuff because there was not enough evidence, etc., etc. even though they had admitted their transgression. I guess, if the kids jaw hadn't been broken, it wouldn't have been an issue, but people today don't think about the consequences of their actions. The kid almost ended someones life. Needto broke someones jaw. I'd say the scales are balanced at that point.

if thats where it ended, sure.
but we can't be the judge and jury- thats someone else's job. or one day, you'll get into a fight with someone, and his buddy will think its only fair to end your life for it.

in the end- the kid ended up with a broken jaw, but needto is in jail and his wife has to suffer. not fair for anyone.

angel, i think its a great idea that if we can send him stuff- cards or whatever- to cheer him up. its up to you-you'd have to tell his full name, or we could send it to you and you could send it to him.
 
I will ask him tonight what he thinks about giving out his full name. But surely I will be willin to mail him any thing that any one mails me

He is not in a cell right now.It is called a "voc" and there are 80 people per voc.Generally the non sentenced people stay in the vocs while sentenced people either go to 60 (which means 60 beds) or 120. Hopefully he wont go to either!

we were thinking of that. Now if the charges were to get dropped I had planned on counter suing him for lost wages and pain and suffereing. But now that he is guilty of the a&b there really is not much i can do.
I did however recieve a phone call from him this morning. He did not get moved today. They are putting him in front of the farm board tomorrow morning and they will decide if he is to go to "the farm". I surely hope so! Pray!!!!!

Well I drove all the way to the county jail for nothing. He got moved (think i said that already).
I went to see him tonight at the "farm" it was awesome.I brought 2 of the 3 kids with me as well. God we got to touch and kiss him. We get another visit tomorrow too.
He is going to the board tomorrow to see about getting out on bracelet.rumor there is that any one with under 8 months is getting booted with the bracelet on. I hope so!

There for we have to disconnect our internet for now, But rest assured we will be back.My husband coming home is far more important than the internet. All of you that have our number dont forget to call untill then (klubear, and DG).
I am soooooo friggin happy I just hope that now I canceled my internet that he is in fact coming home. If I cancelled for nothing I will be pissed.
