Personally, I draw with 20g, and always use 25g to inject; 1" for quads, delts, 1.5" glutes.
If you inject in the proper location (not too low where it's probably fattier) you should be able to get by with 1" in the glutes just fine if you're sure it's going into muscle, not fat.
i mean dont get me wrong im not the skinniest guy in the world. im about 5'10" 195 but a lot of it is muscle. this is my first time injecting that is why im asking all these newb questions lol i just want to make sure im doing it right ya know?
