I read through spotinjection.com's FAQ and didn't quite understand the "aspiration" part.
Apparently aspiration is done by pulling the plunger back slightly after needle penetration but before you actually inject. The FAQ says that if you see blood in the siringe you've screwed up and you have to start over. And it says you've successfully aspirated if you see a couple small bubbles.
If you've already pushed the syringe up enough to get the needle to drip after filling it, then I'm assuming the needle is full of liquid. So if you back it out after penetration, where is the air coming from?
Will you always see air bubbles during this step?
