need to lose muscle weight!!

Hi everyone. New here.

My name is Ann and im 18 yrs. olda and will be attending the University of Maryland in College Park this fall. I have been struggling my whole life with my weight. Im not fat nor super skinny. I have big muscles that make me have a figure like a man. I don't do sports or is very active. I just go to school, church, go out and eat, hang out or chat with my friends. I work at bar as a bartender. i don't know why i have big muscles because none of my other sisters have this problem. I have big muscular arms and legs. I can't wear skirts or sleeve less shirts because of this. If i do i get stared at or get bad comments from people. my family makes fun of me and people say i should cover up. in high and middle school people called me a man. I was kicked out of gymnastics and dance because they said I did not have the right legs. some also say i should eat a lot or not eat at all. first of all, i don't eat a lot nor do i want to each a lot because that would cause me to gain more weight. Im 5'4 and weigh 140- mostly muscle. my doctor says i should lose weight, but how!!!! I have been trying since i was 11, but my muscles have only been getting bigger. I need help!! I have always want to dance and feel sexy but my body has limited me from ever doing that. its one thing feel ugly and another one the whole world says you are ugly.
i need help!! please someone help me!! thank you-ann
 
unless your on steroids i bet your muscle mass makes you look awsome, and not "manly" at all.

fuck what other people think, first off, second off, you should post a few pictures so we can get an idea for what your working with.

you probably look really good, (at least from the description) and should embrace your ability to get muscle and enjoy the gym and being strong.

but if you were trying to lose muscle, then no weights at all, and alot of cardio...eventually youl start burning muscle and get cut.

also, im gunna be a sophmore at UMD, its a fun school, and if you embrace your muscle gaining abilities, the gym is really nice.

get your thyroid checked... as well as a full blood panel.. you will need to see an endo..

i could say just take

t4/t3 and over about a month the muscle will be eaten away, but that might not be the trick for you.. sounds like you have elevated test levels..

if that's the case, i would ask.. do you have low bodyfat??

can i see your abs.. if not.. i'd suggest most women should be 18-22% bf for that female form...

but many body builders prefer the body fitness gals.. which i do, and they carry 8-14% bf.. now that's nice..

and if your family is making fun of you.. do you respond with "mom and dad's genetics are what i am today" so if you don't like it, don't associate with acidic people..

im not sure of my bf, i'll try to upload some pics. no i don't take steroids. alter?? hmm...cadio...what exactly is that? should i change my diet?

You don't have to take steroids, some people just naturally have higher levels of testosterone than others. Alters are current members that make a new "screenname" simply to harrass/annoy other members.

Cardio....anything that raises your heartbeat to 130+, running, jogging, biking, etc....

I would definetly see a doctor and tell them your issues, I don't think its healthy for anyone to "hate their body." A full blood test is needed, along with getting your thyroid checked, and meeting with a nutritionist to go over your diet.

Actually...you make consider taking up marathon running. The longer/better you run, your body tries to lighten the load to make running easier. First you will burn extra fat, but eventually without proper nutrition, your body will eat your muscles.
 
ok, i will check with my doctor to see whats wrong. none of my sisters have this problem and they play sports. um, cardio, sure, long distance...i don't know, but i will try anything at this point to lose the awful muscles!! im not the body building type, just want to be able dress nice and sexy and not be stared at.

i still think alter
 
a lot of distance running will do some good. but make sure u use a ipod or some other mp3 player. it will make running soooooo much easier. p.s. if u are as muscular as u say u are then we should hook up. the genetics our kids would have! and im not a dirty old man im in my twentys.lol

um...you not some skinny dude are you?? and i dont want turn death.
