Need some info

Recently, someone close to me said she has redness, hotness, hardness, and now some pain at the nipple area. Would anyone know what kind condition this might be? I'm scared it might be cancer.

Sorry not sure but my girlfriends mother had breast cancer and from memory it was lumps in the actual breast. Im no expert but perhaps its a some sort of hormone inbalance. Girlfriends mother is alive and doing well with no breast cancer after going through chemotherapy. Tell your friend to goto the doctor

Could be a clogged duct, could be a malignant or benign cyst. In any case, she needs to get to the doc ASAP.

The doctor determined it to be a infection. Still going to run a blood test still and see if the meds clears everything up. Thanks guys.
