Need some help....

Ok, well...i've been doing 5x5 for about 3 months now and i've seem to stopped with my gains....anyone interested in helping me with a new routine?
Preferably something with a GOOD day for chest since mine seems not to grow at all??

Hey man.

I vaguely recall that you were experimenting with bench pressing almost every day? How long did you do that? Also, weren't you doing the 5x5 alongside that?

One other question: even before your buddy convinced you to try the every day benching routine, weren't you doing the 5x5 on bench twice a week?

I think if you just stick to the standard 5x5, you'd be happy with gains aplenty.
 
Yeah, I agree with Dukat on this one. Consistency is one thing I've had trouble with before. When I buckled down and stuck to a routine for a solid 3 months (long time since I'm very fickle) I made pretty nice gains.

Did you switch your 5x5 rep scheme to 5x3 when your gains halted? If not, try that. Otherwise, maybe take a week off and come back to the weights just a bit lower than where you left off and continue the upward progression once more. You'll like what you see.
