Need Some Help With Lifting

a leet boozer

Well basically i have been going to the gym for about 2 months just lifting and not really have a routine at all. I don't really want to start to get serious until i get some protein. I was wondering if you guys could hook me up with a routine and should i be taking any supps or anything while im in the process? any help with be greatly helpful
 
Welcome to Elite Boozer! Heres a routine split I like to use:

Monday: Back and deadlifts
Tuesday: Triceps and Biceps
Wednesday: off
Thursday: Chest (Flat bench)
Friday: Legs
Saturday: off
Sunday: Upper chest (incline bench) and shoulders
 
Never directly before working out, IMO.

Do it on off days, or do it after training. If you really must do cardio first, do it in the morning and then train in the evening after you're well-hydrated and fed.

Edited to add:
Although you can add supps down the road on an as-needed basis, most are not necessary. Your best supps will always be a good attitude, dedication, rest, and nutritious food. :)
