Need some help with an ad for PT

I am a PT, and Im looking to do some marketing, I was thinking of distribution some flyers, but also placing a small ad in the paper. I was wondering if anyone could help me with this. I dont really know what to say. at first im just thinking of a small classified. but im up for other options...

well right now, i want to target everyone..for the most part. but see that what im having the problem with, im not witty, or creative.

can anyone give me some examples for a small classified add.


Also has anyone done this with any success?

I was also going to make up some flyers and just put them on cars and drop them of at stores.

I work out of a gym but do train clients in their home occasionally. I had great success with door flyering. I found a company who would deliver a thousand flyers for a hundred bucks. I made the flyer and took it to a printing company. In total in the end it cost me about 350$ (cheap vs. a newspaper add at about 1200$). I targeted higher middle class neighborhoods where flyering was not banned. You would be amazed at how many stay at home moms and housewives to rich lawyers sit at home with nothing to do. Get your self some Power Blocks or SelecTech Dumbbells and an exercise ball and you are set.

Thanks for the tip, can you give me any info on how i would find someone to ship flyers like that?

also, can you give me some tips or show me a flyer...my biggest problem is that I want it to look professional and not home maid.

Honestly you can make a great flyer on your computer without it looking home made. It the prinying that makes the difference. As far as soeone who delivers, the company I went through was a little mam and pop business that hires college kids to run flyers door to door. Just do some searching, Im sure these things are not all that un-common.I dont have my flyer on this computer to show you. Put a little brain power into it. Its not that hard.

IB44, I'm actually going to distribute some flyers myself towards the end of the month. I was going to drive around and put them in peoples mailbox, but if it costs $100 to deliver housands of flyers I'd rather do that. I hope I can find a place like that around here.

SDHW - dont take this the wrong way but you can't expect people to put up brochures that they worked hard on for you to copy it and just change some minor things around. You need to put a little more effort.

theleanest- if you plan on driving around and putting them in mail boxes you had better get a good lawyer. You can be brought up on felony charges for that. Technically the post office owns all mailboxes even if you bought or built one yourself. Its something to do with you not paying postage. If it was legal dont you think everyone would just do flyers that way instead of running them up to the door? I just remembered where I found the people that delivered my flyers for me. You ever go to a grocery store like albertsons and on the back of your reciept there are all kinds of advertisements? Thats where I found them.

Bro, I just wanted to get some ideas for mine, and im sure we are not even close in area...so im sure it wouldnt be a problems.
but i just wanted to get some ideas on what to say and how to say it... but when people say to "be profetional" doesnt help me much....kno what im saying...

Like I and theleanest said. Put a little effort into it dude! How about you come up with something and run it by the board for suggestions. Im not writing your flyer for you.
