Need some diet advise for a friend

She's 51 years old and weighs 125 at 5'4. She's in pretty decent shape but wants me to help her with a diet.

She says she is hypoglycemic and when she tries no carbs she gets very tired and sluggish and says she cannot hit ketosis. She used to 15 years ago but now she says she cannot.

What would you guys reccomend she do for a diet to lose some body fat?
 
Still I'd like to get her on a ckd type diet cause it's being so very effective on me so far, I've lost 12 pounds in three weeks and not so much as an eighth of an inch off my arms or chest but my waist IS shrinking. I found my Miracle Diet, the CKD.
 
a TKD might work for her if she is performing some type of phy activity which she should be, unless she can not do to phy limitations

Hypoglycemia can be a BIG problem when you look at the CKD side of the story. I would say your best bet is to put her on a balanced diet instead of CKD...trust me, she will NOT do good on a CKD and it can be life threatening in her case: try 40% protein/30% carbs/30% fat.

Get her some lean protein like fish/chicken/turkey/lean beef
all lowgi carbs like beans/pasta/brown rice/oatmeal/yams/sweet potatoes/veggies
fats should all be EFA's like flaxseed/olive oil/walnut oil/sesamese seed oil

P.S. keep her calories at weight x 12 at bare minimum
