Need Running Advice

I'll second hill sessions. I used to do quite a bit of long distance running, and I did a hill day at least once a week. I had a speed day and one long day as well. I kept weight training to high reps and long sets with lighter weight. I was never great but held my own. My knees can't take running anymore, and now even backpacking can cause some intense discomfort.
 
figuregirl: I'd like to hear about your fitness routines. I can't run anymore and don't have the build or knee's to become a bodybuilder this late in the game but want to improve my overall fitness and physique.
