Need opinions about once a week

Okay, 21yo 6'0 tipping the scale at 179.
Been on a 5000 cals/day diet for about 3 weeks, goal of bulking stage is just that, SIZE.
Should I be training each bodypart once a week? Am currently training each twice a week. Have seen a great increase in strength the last year....size is coming slowly.
Would I be better off training each bodypart once a week in order to gain as much size as possible?

BTW, I know mystique has a similair thread posted, so hope this doesn't seem repetitive..but I think my question is slightly different
 
okay it will be tough but plan each workout lets say chest and tris do it monday and then wait 3-4 days whenever you are done being sore than do it again it will be tough remembering you must keep a log to know what days when this way you won't get extra fat and stop your growth it happened to me once a week i was stopping growth by not hitting parts 2 times a week keep the sets to about 5 you can pyramid or high weight low rep for bulk make sure to comsume 300 gr of protein a day
 
No, work more frequently. Once/week is NOT optimal frequency for growth. Yes it will work because everything "works," but the more frequently you can work without overtraining, the more you'll gain.
