Need Help

I had an ad on craigslist a while ago sellinf a truck. One person from that ad kept sontacting me and still to this day has contacted me only now they are getting more and more threatening since I asked this person to stop emailing me and the truck was sold. I dont know if it is a girl or guy but now I am getting sick of the emails and want to do something about it. what can I do to get a solid point across to whomever is doing this? Can you find out information on a person by there email adress alone? Anyone have any suggestions on how to rid myself of this freak. I am nervous whether I showed this person my truck or not and whether they know where I live or not. please help. K for whoever helps me solve this

bunch of crazies out there. I wonder why they are still harrassing you after knowing the truck is sold? I don't know what I would do but maybe block their email address. I doubt that the police would do anything at this point, they wait till someone has actually died in stalking situations.

Its way wierd its not even about the truck anymore. they kept emailing me and asking questions it got personal and I would not answer anymore q's then they were obviously offended and went from there. If its a friend of mine messing with me (which I dont think it is) I will be pissed if I ever find out out. But like I said I dont think it is.

simply trace the ip header of the email, send it to him/her....

explain authorities will be called...

and block the email, thats about it. honestly
unless u really want to get the person arrested for harrasment, just make sure to SAVE ALL EMAILS

Tell them in no uncertain terms to leave you the fuck alone, or you will pursue legal relief.

Put it in writing or at least an email.

Once you send that, communicate with them no further, ever.

If they continue:

1. Make a police report for harassment.

2. File for a restraining order against 'John Doe' and specify any information you have... email addy, phone numbers, etc.

3. You can get a subpeona based on the above suit to have the the domain owner/ISP divulge who john doe is at the phone number / email addy you have.

4. They won't show up, but now they will have a restraining order on their ass.

5. Hopefully the dont' own any weapons, because they'll have to get rid of them according to federal laws.

tell you the truth, lure him into giving you the info you need to pursue him legally. act as if you have another truck to sell, make it real cheap hard to resist. then ask him for his info so you can get a deal going. contact the police and give them everything you have on the person. in the end hes probably just fucking with you.

What the heck? Did you have pictures of yourself with the truck. It is so odd for someone to become attached to an ad with nothing but a truck in it? I mean, why is the person obsessed with your ad? What does his/her emails say?

Thanks! you are cool, I guess but it is just probationary! As far as the weapons thing if they have one I hope they know how to use it so I say bring that shit on cause I have my own and I sleep with it and I am ranked a sharpshooter with it from my military days. I have excellent thinking and control under stressful conditions! BUT, I would rather they just left me th F alone you know what I mean! I am not looking for trouble but I am getting frustrated!

Too bad I have to sell it for only 1200 dollars! lol! actually I still have a 1986 fs Ford broco new engine paint, wheels and rims I could use but I think you are more than right about them just fucking with me. probably some dumbas kid not worth getting excited over. I never answer him/her it just is getting annoying deleting them. biggest threat was kicking my ass maybe I should just name a time and place and see if they have the balls. Nah that will just continue to egg them on

i paid $500 for it. . .it was an old rust bucket. . .took it home, stripped it down to the bare frame, sandblasted and painted the frame and put it back together. . .with lots of non-oem parts

building a 304 for it right now (to replace the tired 258). . .
