Need Help

Hey, I'm going through the same problems with hairloss. It's not bad at all now, but it's definitely gonna start thinning out soon. My father and all of his brothers and my grandfather are pretty much bald. And one of my uncles on my moms side is balding, while my moms father has a full head of hair. I don't want to take any chances of going bald myself at 20yrs old with an already receeding hairline. I've heard of so many differnet products out there today, for example: Propecia, Rogaine, Proscar, Finasteride, Saw Palmetto, Spiro Cream, Nioxin etc. Can anyone shed some light, and give me some info on all of these products, like how they are administered, oral or topical, how each one ranks compared to the other, I've heard that Propecia is the best out on the market? Whats Saw Palmetto do? Also, if this helps at all, it actaully feels like my scalp is dead, I have these weird tingleing sensations on top of my head, and when I lift my eyebrows up and down I could almost feel the dead hairroot/follicle rub against my scalp. Weird shit!! Any suggestions?

you usually take your MPB gene from your mom. my moms dad started baldig at 17, and so have i.

rogaine and propecia together will prevent/stop it for most ppl. you may even get some back. of course, itll take months before its anything but peach fuzz. good luck.

Take one propecia every morning, and spray some rogaine at the part of your scalp thats thining, a little green tea is also supposed to be good for hair; that's all you can do, blow off the other treatments; will probably stop or greatly slow down your hair loss, i'm not sure if roids increase the amount of DHT in your body but that doesn't necessarily matter as the main factor is the amount of dht receptors on your hair follicles (i think)

Well the thing is my moms father does have plenty of hair. One out of my moms three brothers is balding. I'm already starting to thin out a little, guess I'm gonna go hit up the dermatologist for some Propecia and ask him what the deal is with my scalp feeling all weird and tingley.
